The TRANSFORMERS brand looks to get itself tied into two foods that are a staple of many modern children's diets...Milk and M&M's! Okay, M&M's is more of a treat than a regular part of a diet, but still eaten by many kids around the world.

Milk is important for strong teeth and bones (like the commercials tell us), and it looks like Transformers characters are going to help sell milk, and milk will try to help sell Transformers brand to children when they drink it in the cafeteria. The New York Times reports that TRANSFORMERS brand characters will be lending their likenesses to milk cartons in a cafeterias near you.

And if that's not enough, THE NATIONAL CONVENIENCE STORE CONVENTION featured new products for taste testing. At the M&M's booth, there was an advertisement of a new M&M's flavor to be produced and sold to help promote TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN! The flavor is supposed to be strawberry/peanut butter, but apparently there were no samples of it, just an advertisement.

Looks like the hit that was the first Transformers movie, has spawned more cross promotional options for the second upcoming release. Expect more news on new promotions as the movie release gets closer.

It would have been cool to see Transformers on my milk cartons at school. But it's been awhile since I was in school. lol.

But I like the idea.

Strawberry/Peanut Butter sounds yummy. Like a good PB#J sammich covered in chocolate and candy coating. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

At my school they only have Bulkhead and he looks like he's having a seizure!

I'd probably buy them just for the sake of seeing a TF logo on the packaging.

the m&m's sound cool but then again i'm not big on them at all i still haven't seen any tf milk cartons yet all we have is football but it depends on if they mean plasic bottle shape or paper carton shape.

Hmm... they could redye unsold stock with bot / con logos instead of the "m" printed on them and sell them as store exclusives. Yummy.

MY SCHOOL HAS THESE!
Sitting at Lunch, my friend comes over after buying, sits down, says: "What are we 5?!?! Transformers?"

It was normal milk, not chocolate/strawberry. Was blue and purple instead of the usuual yellow and white package.
