Where's Starscream in ROTF?

As a fan of screamer I'm a bit concerned. While pretty much all of the news and character info on ROTF (misinformation or not) has been promising. We haven't really heard much about Starscream. I know we got the ROS comics and the prequel to the first movie had plenty of SS but I'm getting worried he may be marginalized again and we'll see just another 2 lines from Starscream on the big screen. Anyone else concerned?

A prop of the F-22 figther jet was spotted being unloaded a few months back. F-22 isn't as easy to shoot in live action aside worms-eye-view shots of it passing overhead. Thing is, Starscream most likely will not be sitting around a military base for the majority of the film this time and will take a more proactive roll. His scenes, in robot and jet mode, are done through CGI. The land vehicles are much easier to shoot than the airborne ones.

The ending of the first film confirms he will be back. Afterall, this Starscream needs to be developed further as a character. There are still questions regarding his character we've yet to see answered. Such as his motives. Why he passed on two sure chances to take the All-Spark. And whether or not he actually fired on Megatron at the climax, though if he's anything like his previous incarnations, he probably did.

I don't believe we'll see much Starscream in TF2 as with the rest of the Transformers. I have always liked the characters named Starscream in the TF Universe, infact Armada Screamer may be my favorite TF character; and I was very upset seeing Starscream had no major role in the first movie. I see Starscream's role in TF2 something like this " a scene of him taliking to himself or something, then a later scene where he attacks the Autobots, and then he is badly injured and Megatron kills him; and that would totally stink :-( . I also see the second movie giving him and the rest of the Transformers little to no-personality, and wasting time on the human characters and probably just the pointless ones like Sam and Mikela.

Bring me a ROS movie  now that would be awesome.

im suprised he didnt have a bigger role in the first film, he was the most iconic decepticon after megatron so he should have more of a part this time round. will he be trying to overule the decepticons a la 1986 movie, or just be in the background like the 2007 movie?

*Prays* please Jesus kill Michael Bay if he screws up Starscream!

Don't go there, don't go there at all. That's just...Am at a loss for words at the moment.

But tell me how he would screw up Starscream? In the first movie was the most celver of the Cons and kicked the most on screen. The prequel comics and sequel comics and ghosts of yesterday prequel novel all come across as Starscream at his best.

But all in all I share Dingocrickey's fears, becuase like I've said plenty of times the first was 150 million, if this is 250 million the screentime for the bots may not be that high.

Starscream could be operating from behind the scene. Then, he'll pop out in the last few minutes of climax. And disappear again.

That's exactly what I'm afraid of.

Given the complexity of his CGI, that may probably happen.

It's been said several times that the TFs will be getting more screentime this time around. Granted, we're also getting more characters, so that may cut into individual's screentime. Still, I'm sure we'll get some scenes of Starscream and the other Decepticons plotting, Starscream asserting his role as new leader, cause that needs to be stated. Not everybody seeing this film is a longtime fan and wont know that Starscream has been waiting to take command. Personally, I think someone before me said it best, "Please, Jesus, dont let Michael Bay screw up Starscream!" I think it'll be okay though, Starscream's personality/motives/etc seem like something within Bay's sphere of comprehension.

Somehow I foresee Starscream as being one of the main forces behind the Decepticon actions in ROTF.
I figure he'll head out and gather reinforcements.
In the process, he'll enlist the help of The Fallen, not really knowing what he's getting into.
This will open up for the inevitable film in which the Autobots and Decepticons work together against Unicron. Lol...
