I don't recall seeing this posted before so apologies if someone's already mentioned it or whatever.

There's been a lot of Shia bashing on the net ranging from his info about the movie he's given and his cursing to his reasons for taking on the project. Well I guess Shia was right when he said Starscream was a Raptor.

I picked the Wizard MEGA MOVIE issue up yesterday and on page 24 there's a two page spread about the TF movie. It has the same pick from Empire mag's cover of Optimus standing infront of the robotic eye and a land scape. But it has a sort of alphabet type index explaining characters and such.

And here's what it said that caught my interest:

RAPTOR Starscream-Megatron's lieutenant, rival and leader of the Decepticons in his absense-has taken this advanced F-22 Stealth fighter as his alternate mode. The Raptor can go faster then Mach 2 and is highly maneuverable.

I'll try to see if I can get scans of this because I'm sure there's going to be someone somewhere who think I'm making this up or whatever.

Well, the F-22's official designation is "Raptor", just like the F-14 is the Tomcat or the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Why they are referring to Screamer as "Raptor Starscream", I don't know. Now, Shia did make a mistake about Starscream when he said in an interview that Screamer was a "Razor." That has long since been put to rights. But yes, Starscream is a F-22 Raptor.

Hate to burst your bubble, but Shia told interviewers that Starscream was a Razor, which made no sense because it made it sound like he turned into a cellphone.

Actually, I remember him saying that MEGATRON was the "Razor" which caused everyone to think Megs would have an Earth mode in the film, which was wrong.

Yeah, that's right. He said Megs is a Razor and didn't say anything about SS.

That's right shia says Megs is a Motorola Razor . Silly Shia

To be precise I believe he said Megatron was a top-secret never-before-seen jet called a Razor. So, even if he'd said Starscream and Raptor, he still would have managed to be wrong.

Note that, in the link in the link (Not a typo!) I posted, there's a colon between "Raptor" and "Starscream."
