We've all seen pictures of the "Twins" popping up before.
They're a Chevy Beat and a Chevy Trax, right?

Well, IGN had an article on ROTF (http://movies.ign.com/articles/930/930252p1.html).
The pictures of "The Twins" got me thinking again: Who are these twins?

I know we've seen their license plates recently.
I can't recall offhand exactly what they said, though.
(Sorry... long day.)

In any case, is it possible that these Twins are Sunstreaker and Sideswipe?
Just because their license plates don't say that, it doesn't mean that they're not.
It could be nicknames or abbreviations, right?

Just looking at the pictures of the Trax and its colors make me think of Sideswipe.
I know that the Beat's color scheme isn't exactly Sunstreaker's yellow, but would that stop Michael Bay?
In any case, I know there's nothing requiring these "Twins" be Streaker & Swipe, but doesn't it sound plausible?

Also, the IGN article had a very interesting suggestion:
The Twins start off as the ice cream truck we've seen, and they are later reformated into the Beat and Trax models.
Any news on that?
Or were the IGN writers just speculating?

The last bit about the ICT and the twins is speculation backed up by vehicles seen on set and an old leaked call sheet.

The sheet mentioned twin brothers as the ICT then mentioned 'the twins' in another scene with BB... that scene was seen to include beat most definately... and i at least saw the Trax there as well.

The reformatting scene should be interesting.

Twins:
"What do you mean? Aren't there rusty vans driving around neighborhoods and giving ice cream to young children?"

Prime:
"Not really. It's that whole thing with pedophiles and all that."

Bumblebee:
[plays Ozzy's "Mr. Tinkertrain" on his radio]

Twins:
"Oh... well... that explains a lot. Can we be Lamborghinis?"

Ratchet:
"You don't have the licensing cogs for that."

Twins:
"Then, can we be Chevys?"

Michael Bay:
"Wouldn't have it any other way, boys."

I am really not one to start ripping on people before I hear the real story, but is it seriously going to be Beat and Tracks that are the twins??? According to the Wiki gods, they're listed as the twins and Sideswipe is confirmed- where's Sunstreaker? This could, quite possibly, be a fake name release, but I've yet to hear anything about Sunstreaker. I certainly hope they play their cards right with the FORTY mechs in the movie.

Where are people getign the idea that there will be 40 TF's in the new movie? I have not seen anything that confirms that number.

I don't think there will be 40 in the movie. As for the twins, i will admit I was very disapointed that they arn't Sunstreaker and Sideswipe.
