-Confirms 40+ robots in movie.
-CG allows them to add new scenes, which they are considering.
-Starscream will have much more of G1-ey feel to him..."Finally," by Orci.

40+?!

Awesome stuff. especially about 40+ 'bots and Starscream being more G1.. if anyone deserves some form of character development, its him!!

On a random note, even though Im in England, Im curious as to when the Super Bowl is.. rather looking forward to seeing what the first teaser holds..

Back to topic a moment, lets hope not too many of these 40+ 'bots are cannon fodder.. as with all news about ROTF though, time will tell!

I kinda hope many of those 40 bots are cannon fodder- Optimus Prime's and Ironhide's cannons, that is. I'd LOVE to see a scene where a whole slew of Decepticons transform and attack these two, like something out of a kung fu movie, and Prime and 'hide just cut them to ribbons.

Yes! Seeing Ironhide royally effing up some Decepticons would make my day.

I just want giant robots fighting each other. That's all. If the entire move is like the first20 minutes of the animated movie, I will be happy.

That would be pretty sweet. Yeah, I believe that the whole '40+ bots' thing includes minor characters who probably have very little screen time.

Although any increase in robot headcount is a welcome addition, I'm not gonna get my hopes up too much.

That is, unless of course, the teaser this weekend proves me wrong...

40+? That's gonne be one hell of a toy opportunity for Hasbro. Think my wallet's gonna be anorexic before the toy line is over..

It could be the primary characters thru most of the movie and then towards then end 20 some odd reinforcments show up to set up the third film.

40+ are you kidding me? Thats way to much for the 2nd movie. There better not be toys for them all cause if there are i think some peoples wallets are screwed.

Half a billion dollars in theaters alone may say otherwise, not to mention everything else that was bought up last year.
