How Devestator combines speculation thread!

After seeing the trailer, I think the steamshovel (Longarm?) is the leader. So I believe Steamshovel is the upper torso, Cement truck is lower torso, two bots for the legs, two bots for the arms, and since we have seen the steam shovel toy and it doesn't have an extra head (unless it is an accessory), then I think there will be another robot as the head.

I agree with you.

I have no idea about the the arms and legs, but I think the excavator (seen in the tv spot) is the shoulders/neck and/or head. I think the cement truck is the majority of the chest with the drum being the described vortex of death.

The only thing I wonder is if Devestator is the fallen or a fallen creation, I mean seriously, based on the steam shovel guy, Devestator looks to be the biggest TF in the movie.

I sincerely doubt that Devastator is The Fallen himself, as for a creation of his design, quite possibly.

I understand that the movie universe is not a part of the original, but still I'd like to see him as just a straight Decepticon

i don't know if anyone will agree with me but i honestly think that what we see is what we get. I think that he won't have legs i think he might have the wheel as his only movement he is in the trailer 2 times and both times it shows him rolling on the wheel. As dissapointed as this sounds i honestly feel that this is what devastator will be. On a side note i think that the one scene in the trailer where the car comes out of the building and is being followed thos bots following him sure do seem to have the same head as that motorcycle toy we saw a few weeks again go look at the stills for evidence.

Look at the shoulders of that bot. It is a SINGLE bot, not a gestalt, and perfectly fits the Voyager toy we saw a few weeks ago.

had a look at the trailer and paused it at a few spots to take a closer look...

devastator aint gonna be rolling around on one massive wheel, its conna be a massive combiner. Our powershovel toy that we say earlier in pics, that appears to be his robot mode cos its massive, so it looks like that constructicon will be the head/neck/shoulders component, the other large robot looks to be a large haulage machine of a sort, with two large earthmover wheels on the shoulders and what appears to be a large or two large wheels or what looks like the tops of some legs as it banjo's a blackhawk out of the air as it fly's past.

prime seems to be the same height as the wheel of the powershovel constructicon, if not a little larger... this is gonna be one massive robot, i for one cant wait to see it...

but for whats visible so far looks to be the shoulders/head and part of the upper or lower torso...hmmm...

I am tempted to agree. If the first movie serves as any indication of what the second will bring, and it should, what we see IS what we're going to get this summer. If the monowheel design is for reals, I like it. I think it's different and that's pretty cool. Besides, it's not like it's going to look anymore awful than the general movie Transformer design.

But we know from the toy, its just one bot with that alt mode weve seen, and it HAS been confirmed he is a combiner.

This one is just huge because of what the alt mode is.

I mean, look at his shoulders in the trailer/pics. See the stairs? Hes huge.

One bot =/= combiner

Yeah, it's big as hell, but I havent seen the toy pictures. I was basically just saying that I like the single wheel design. I'm all for gestalts and big ass robots, that would be awesome, I'm just saying that I like the wheel design.

That seems very possible. Devastator would be the most powerful robot of all. Besides, we don't even know his name is Devastator.

Wow, I think I was right on how he merges. I wonder though if the head is a basic though that fits inside the two wheels of the steam shovel?

i personally thought it would be cool to happen in this order.

-the legs roll up, and transform.

-next, we see the rest of the bots crawl up the legs in bot form, and transform as they get to where they are supposed to be.

this would make the merging very dramatic, and almost scary, watching them crawl up the sides, considering one of the bots has 4 legs.

just an idea though.
