For all the crap that man has taken from people (me included) about how he changed Transformers so much I think he seems like a good bloke.

Didnt really give much away but he seemed pleasent enough and happy to chat about something totally unrelated to the reason he was there.

I really like this guy. He seems a little full of himself but i think Transformers has brought him down to earth a little bit... Nothing like fan boy hate to bring you down a few notches. I watched TF1 again last night and man... it's still so good. It's amazing to me how the effects still hold up under emmense scrutiny.. i just hope the plot is better in this one and that it doesn't get so epic that it loses scope.

What he needs to do is not come back to direct the 3rd installment and just get back to making normal action movies that arent based on any thing. He has a talent for making good action movies (Armageddon, Bad Boys) but when theres continuity (TF1) he fails. But he wont since hes getting paid a **** load of money and i think he likes pissing us off.

Wolf I really wish you would stop acting like you're speaking for all of us. A select few disliked the movie. Stop lumping me in with you when it comes to your opinion of it and Bay himself.

Technically, it was "dumb f***ing robot movie."

Liking how he said that we get to see a lot more personality and 'emoting' from the robots... Not liking how he said "this one's a lot darker". I don't think you need to make the second movie in a series markedly darker and more sinister in tone by rule!

Perhaps ( and I am hoping ) he means that they will not put any of that cringeworthy, zany humour in this one.

Huh... I couldve sworn I posted here last night :?

Anyway..

I like Bay (there I said it..) he seems like an alright guy, quick wit, good sense of humour.. Id take him down the pub and buy him afew beers :P I recall watching the behind the scenes DVD that came with TF1.. laughed my butt off when the crew pelted him with styrofoam megaphones :P lol..

I like what he's said to, about ROTF having a darker tone and being able to emote the robots more. Im very much looking forward to watching ROTF, even my mothers excited about it!.. just another what?.. 5 months? :\

At least I can look forward to the trailer, which is gunna be online around the same time as my birthday :D

I can't wait for this movie. I loved the first one. Yes, it diverged from the G1 continuity, and yes the robots looked different, but i was still about giant robots that turn into cars and blow stuff up.

The only problem I had with the first one was that there wasn't enough info about the decepticons for me to care about them at all. From what Bay just said, that problem will be solved for ROTF. Come on June!!!
