Yep, looks like that's him. Good find.

No word yet on his voice-actor. If he gets one, it probably won't be any A-list celebrity. I have a hunch he won't even talk though in the movie... I have no real evidence for that, but it would be fit with the producers' short-sighted sidelining of the robots' characters so far.

And is it just me, or did he teleport through fire? Because that's what it looked like.

It looks like some sort of teleport. Lost of electrical energy and a blast of flame..

I think you see him twice in the trailer: once where he was teleporting/warping/whatever, and then again when Scorponok jumps out of the sand and you see his leg with the Cybertronian symbols on his thigh.
