Idea needing a quote
Posted: Sun Feb 22, 2009 4:32 pmThere was a quote floated a while back by By, Orci, or some other muckty-muck associated with the film that said something to the extent of "We are working on something for the film that, if we can get it in, will make the fan-boys very happy." I know I am off on how I remember the quote so I am not able to find it.
The reason I am looking for ths quote relates to an idea I have regarding Prime. There are many rumors floating around about Optimus "dying" in this film. I serriously doubt he will die for good . . .
My idea is that during the movie Optimus and Jetfire, who are merged, bite the dust (some say Ironhide does the shooting). Then, at the end of the movie Optimus, who is still merged with Jetfire, comes back online. His body is mangled and partially fused with Jetfire's. He scans a new altmode as his repair systems go to work. What he scans is a full truck and trailer because he now has more size and mass since he is merged with Jetfire.
Prime would then be in is full glory ready to go bust some Decptichops in the third installment.
* Originally I thought the end of the credit roll would show light flickering in Prime's eyes.
