Josh Duhamel on Ellen

Josh Duhamel was on Ellen this morning. They showed an extended clip from the movie with the events right before Blackout landed at the base through his transformation. They showed Blackout's legs and waist very clearly -- the cgi looked great. Josh held up a transformed Classics Prime and a vehicle mode Classics Prime. He seemed as though he didn't really know what to do with them, though he did say he watched the cartoons when he was younger. It was fun to finally see an interview with one of the stars and an extra little movie footage. Part of the video clip can be seen here on YouTube.com.

I saw it. After Blackout swung around you could here a Star Wars-esque blaster sound as he shot out missles.

Somebody tell that Bacala asshole and let him take all the glory. (:|

I never watch Ellen (I personally can't stand her). At least I didn't miss anything too important.

Clip was kinda cool. I imagine in the following scene, the US Army realizes that they will need new heroes in order to defend America and Freedom. Enter... the Transformers!

I just watched the clip on YouTube. If you ever catch me on the couch watching daytime talk shows, boomstick me in the head. Please.

Does Ellen's target demographic really care about this movie? Or is it just a chance to get a handsome guy on the show?

Anyone else feel that Blackout's movement was shoddy? He looked a bit too light and sort of stop-motionesque. The scene itself looked good, had the right mood, but his legs were a bit too skeletal if you ask me.

The soap opera stuff at the beginning is the kind of filler I'm dreading.

I just left Spider-Man3 with a very uneasy feeling. It seems like the cast and crew there just lost intrest in what otherwise could have been a very good movie.

I only mention this because even with all the issues that surround the design aspects of the TF movie, that acting seemed very good, and I needed that!

That is exactly what I was thinking.

Who cares at all about the human characters. This movie should be about the robots, told from the robots POV. And he did look too skeletal.
Frienzy is the worst. looks like you could snap himin two. Not scary at all. The shot where the helicopter starts to change seems to have the right mood. the transformation seems slow though.

Yeah, his legs looked more skeletal than the Terminators.....UUGGHH. Are these guys going to get blown apart easily or what?

It's totally stupid how the giant armored bodys the Transformers have in the real series couldn't possibly be believed in real life, but those tooth pick legs are supposed to support a massive body that weighs tons.....hmmmm.

I have seen TONS of squared off 18 wheeleres since Micheal Bay said that the type of truck they chose for prime was because the other type is no longer as popular and implied that people would tink its dated. For the record the square cab actually look bigger and more menacing. I rant here in agreement that the skeletal legs are a poor choice and should have been more armored and blocky.

Okay, Ellen may give us what we want to see, but the word
"Ellen" and any form of the word "hot" don't belong in the same sentence. (No, I don't say this because she is a lesbian.)

Really? I haven't seen one of those in a long time. I generally only see the longnose semis anymore.
