Let me clear up the confusion ???

People on the web on on her and across various sites and others have been getting the facts about transformers mixed-up and confused with other facts.

Let a transformers G1 person help clear out the confusion between the diffrenced of the 1986 Animated movie and the Live Action movies.

1986 Animated Film
Frank Welker voiced Sound Wave and the Original Megatron
Lenard Nimoy voiced Galvatroned when Megatron got upgraded to Galvatron thanks to Unicrons powers.

Orson Wells was the voice of Unicron not Nimoy it was Wells lasts job before he past away.

Sun Blu was Arcee
John Moschitta was Blurr
Judd Nelson was Rodimus Prime and Hot Rod

Robert Stack was Ultra Magnus
Peter Cullen was Optimus Prime

Live Action Movies

The Fallen is the new bad Guy

Megatron is only in flash-back scenes of Cybertron he is once again voiced bye Hugo Weaven

Frank Welker will most likely be the voice Soundwave

Lenord Nimoy will most likely be the voice of the Fallen

They are 6 or 7 Constructicons Demolisher Long Haul among others

Jet Fire & Optimus will combine unkown if it will be done in a diffrent way or the way they combined to make Jet-Convoy in Armada.

Arcee will be 3 motorbikes combined to make one Robot hint that is why they are seperate toys also. Also in the trailer we see diffrent bikes also.

The Twins are also supposed to Power Link or Combine cause Mr. Bay said they are more to them than meets the eye.

Alice is a Prenteder really a Decipticon Spy

Ravage is in unkown if Lazerbeak or Buzzsaw will make an appeareance

Also people really get me annoyed on things like Limewire and other downlodable places to get music from.

They always label The Touch bye Van Halen or some stupid crap like that.

The Touch - Stan Bush

Transformers Theme 1986 - White Lion

Transformers Theme 2007 - Mute Math

Also interesting notes about Stan Bush he done music for Sailor Moon a song called "The Power of Love" and also in the Van-Damme move Blood Sport he did 2 or 3 songs on it but the one I remember the most is "On My Own".

So there that is the facts and diffrences between the 1986 movie and the 2007 and sequel movies.

Maybe now people wont be so confused I hope my info will help also below is every transformers series ever made to help give people a guide line of what the TF-Mythology was about.

Transformers Series
Generation 1 Season 1, 2pr1.2prt.2, 3 The Rebirth (Scramble City)
Generation 2 mostly comics and in Japan Megatron was a Tank
Beast Wars
Beast Wars Neo
Beast Wars 2
Beast Machines
Victory
The Headmasters
Super God Master Force
Beast Machines
Transformers RiD
Armada
Energon
Cybertron also known as Galaxy Force in Japan
Animated Season 1, 2 , and season 3 will be the end of it

Okay, now where are you getting all of these facts from? Because a fact isn't a fact without proof.

Hooray, I'm liked!

Really, Rodimus2006, would you like to share your source? For example, where was it said that Leonard Nimoy would be the Fallen? Or that Megatron would be only in flashbacks even though the Superbowl Trailer just barely shows him attacking Sam? (Concept art and shown compared to screenshots, showing that Megatron was, mostly likely, in the trailer)

I'm sorry, but these facts are completely unacceptable to me until they're backed up and verified by a Transformers Beast Wars person and a Transformers Energon person.

Actually, I heard this too somewhere. Most likely on TFW2005 because thats where I check TF news.

Can't link directly to it, but, as it happens, Bay, or someone close to him (producers?) knows Nimoy personally, as they're somehow related (brother of his wife or something). It was through that relation that Nimoy let Bay film at that observatory in the first film, so it's not completely off the cards to say he might be able to voice the Fallen.

However. Rumours. And without proof, I could be talking ass. I just heard it somewhere and it's not as far out there as we might think.

Rodimus2006 wrote:People on the web on on her and across various sites and others have been getting the facts about transformers mixed-up and confused with other facts.
It happens.

Rodimus2006 wrote:Let a transformers G1 person help clear out the confusion between the diffrenced of the 1986 Animated movie and the Live Action movies.
Are transformers G1 persons better able to do that than any other fan?

Rodimus2006 wrote:1986 Animated Film

There is a rumour that Nimoy voiced Unicron's last line in the movie, because fans note that it "sounds different". Supposedly, Welles died before he could deliver the final line, and Nimoy was asked to do it instead. Personally, I can't hear a different, and I think Wally Burr or whoever was involved stated that the rumour was false. But that's why people think Nimoy was Unicron sometimes.

Rodimus2006 wrote:Live Action Movies

No proof. Bay said this himself, and we all know how much of a liar he's been about the movie.

Rodimus2006 wrote:Frank Welker will most likely be the voice Soundwave
Bay said he'd like to do it. No confirmation.

Rodimus2006 wrote:They are 6 or 7 Constructicons Demolisher Long Haul among others
True, I think.

Rodimus2006 wrote:Jet Fire & Optimus will combine unkown if it will be done in a diffrent way or the way they combined to make Jet-Convoy in Armada.
From a silhouette of the promotional keychain released a ways back, Jetfire will sit on Prime's back and feet. It'll likely be a highly intricate affair with bits of Jetfire appearing all over Prime's body in a mangled, almost sexual mash-up of metal.

Rodimus2006 wrote:Arcee will be 3 motorbikes combined to make one Robot hint that is why they are seperate toys also. Also in the trailer we see diffrent bikes also.
Different bikes? In the trailer we see three "things" leap up in persuit of Sideways, which are, quite obviously, Acree's components. The end of the prequel comic Alliance, I believe, hints strongly, as Arcee leaves for Hong Kong, and that sequence is quite clearly set there in the trailer.

Rodimus2006 wrote:The Twins are also supposed to Power Link or Combine cause Mr. Bay said they are more to them than meets the eye.
"Mr. Bay said" will lose you street cred with regards to Revenge Of The Fallen. The twins "work together" in a "special way", said a spokesperson for GMC in an interview about the movie. That was a fair ways back. And to be fair, EVERYTHING in the Transformers universe is 'more than meets the eye'.

Rodimus2006 wrote:Alice is a Prenteder really a Decipticon Spy
True.

Rodimus2006 wrote:Ravage is in unkown if Lazerbeak or Buzzsaw will make an appeareance
Ravage confirmed, no mention whatsoever of the other cassetticons.

Rodimus2006 wrote:Also people really get me annoyed on things like Limewire and other downlodable places to get music from.

The Touch - Stan Bush

Transformers Theme 1986 - White Lion

Transformers Theme 2007 - Mute Math

There's some dispute over the name of the band who wrote the theme. Supposedly their real name was too graphic (something like Kick Axe) so they changed it, without the band knowing.

etc etc..

I heard about that, too. Leonard Nimoy is married to a relative of Michael Bay. Apparently a couple of scenes were filmed at the Griffith Observatory, (Where the Autobots scanned the glasses, and the building Sam and Mikaela were standing in front of when the other Autobots arrived) because they donated a lot of money there.

Just to clarify, the '86 Transformers theme was by 'Lion', not 'White Lion'.

The confusion is understandable, seeing as they were both cheesy 1980s hair-metal bands with similar names (and sounded kinda similar, too).

'Kick Axe' (another cheesy 80s hair-metal band) contributed two songs to the 86 movie: 'Hunger' (played as Hot Rod & Kup battle the Sharkticons) and 'Nothin's Gonna Stand In My Way' (played as Hot Rod battles the Quintesson fish and squid) - under the assumed name "Spectre General".

Hope that helps.

Nimoy himself once reported in Starlog magazine that he had to re-record most of Orson Wells line when asked by the director.

It was felt that Orsons voice was not strong enough but when he died they decided to run his taped recordings threw a synthaziser to improve the sound.

Nimoy said that he was unsure if they ever used any of his voice overs.

You know, it occurs to me that, if they merge similarly to the twins in TF:Animated (one forming the right half and the other forming the left half), that could explain why their faces are hideously asymmetrical. Could explain why they're so dumb too: they each, literally, have half a brain.

I have a feeling though that when the spokesperson says "special" he means "short-bus special". :?

I know the original post is wrong because Mr. T should be listed as the voice actor for Devestator.

And not to beat a dead horse... but apparently Demolisher might actually not be a "constructicon" and therefore not part of who forms devastator according to some sources: http://www.usatoday.com/life/movies/new ... look_N.htm

But that's already been debated (partially by me) on another thread.

Apparently the constructicons are Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower, Longhaul, Rampage, Overload and Mixmaster.

The big question is does Scavenger = Demolisher?

I'm starting to believe that they're different guys despite how similar their toy alt. mode photos are. (Again if you wanna see what I mean you can check the other thread: viewtopic.php?f=44&t=51887&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=25#p905672 )

I think Rodimus2006 means well, but whenever he tries to clariy facts, there appear to be some mistakes and/or unproven things claimed to be facts. Hey, no one's perfect -- I make plenty of mistakes too.

I was thinking that Demolisher is Scavenger-I thought there was some kind of legallity involving the Scavenger name and that is why Demolisher actually has "Scavenger" painted on the side of his alt mode. Either that, or it is the "why is Brawl named Devastator in the first movie" question. Either way, I thought Dem and Scav are supposed to be the same bot.

This is the most bizarre thread ever.

With regards to the 'confusion', are we even sure how many 'cons form Devvy in the new movie? Because the toy is formed out of six, but the CGI render and the recently-released list of names both say seven. What's going on?

No no, you moron.

Didn't you ever see the Machine Wars cartoon? It aired on Jetix back in the early 90s.

Leslie Nielsen as Devastator and he played a bunch of others.

Chris Rock was Optimus Prime.

Jesus, what're you doing here if you never saw the Machine Wars cartoon?
