Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Director Michael Bay has talked with
MTV.com, yet again, about the upcoming sequel to the 2007 blockbuster movie.
This time he reveals that the film is slightly longer than the original.
“It’s four minutes longer than the last one,” explained Bay, saying that the runtime was locked. “So, go figure it out.” A long story short, the film is 147 minutes long. What could a whopping four extra minutes mean? More action? More character development? More credits? We'll find out when Revenge of the Fallen hits theatres June 24th 2009.

Bay really is a professional Asshole isnt he?
"Go figure it out?"
Does he not realisea little more humility might get him some respect? His movies arent exactly the epic masterpieces he seems to think.

Of course not...He knows we're going to go see his film no matter what...And to be fair, he's right...

If its four more minutes of bathroom humor Ill start a protest. The first movie already has some cringe-worthy lines.
Bumblebee...stop lubricating the man.

Were not going to eatch 'his' movie though. I mean yeah ok, technically but frankly we'd be going to watch this movie if it was Bay, Raimi, Kubrick, Scorcesi(sp) or Kermit the Frog. Ive never seen a press release or a comment from the man that showed any sign of respect to anyone but himself.
You ever watch the DVD commentary, you know where usually they get the cast and crew in to talk about how they felt the film went, and add a few little anecdotes for the fans.....well the one on Transformers is basically 140 min of Michael Bay (alone) kissing his own ass and reminding us of how tight he is with the military. Infact he stops talking about the film completely at some points to talk about how cool certain military vehicles are, or when he first used them (Transformers is the first time the Raptor has ever been used on film apparently, and he's the only person ever to be allowed to film one of the Stealth bombers.... i forget the details)
"Mojo on pain pills was my idea...why, cos i think its cool"
Similar comments for the Birdhouse/Doghouse thing, the Lubrication joke and the 'Sams Happy time' thing.
Basically if it was a completely out of place, uncomfortable or incomprehensible joke, it was Bays.
And please im not saying he's a bad director (as such) simply that he has his head way too far up his own ass.

I almost guessed the running time correctly i said it was going to be around 145 minutes which is 1hr. 45 minutes not to bad as I was only off bye 2 minutes.
I almost guess the 1st ones running time right I said it was about 155 minutes it was almost 157 or 8 minutes.
I am pretty good at guessing the running time for movies cause I been doing movies for a long time and I am good at guessing their almost exact running times.

Not too good at Translating Minutes to hours though are ya lol.
145 min does not equal 1 hour 45 lol. Its actually 2h 25m.

Id say some stupid subplot (to show theres going to be a 3rd installment) that no one will care about. Or its some thing to just piss us off some more. You know bay enjoys pissing us off. Or just one big explosive chain reaction. Im gonna go with the last one.

I get the impression that Bay hates us and transformers. his constant belittling "it's a toy movie" and the false notion of having us eating out of his palms is disgusting. he is only doing these movies out of hollywood politics. no one tells speilberg no and keeps there job. plus $$

Kermit the Frog for TF3! He could have Skids break into "It's not Easy Being Green" at some point.
"Bunsen! Beaker! Rowlf! Fozzie! Piggy! Unite to form... Gonzotron!"

I would pass on any more of Megan Fox's bacon. Now, a beach scene with Josh Duhamel, well, that's another story....
HK, who feels uncomfortable being forced to look at cachectic female bodies.

Every time the first movie's "fix Bumblebee" scene rolls I think "So, is Bay horny or a complete dirty geezer in training?" I tend to think the latter more now.
Actress may be of-age, but shameless exploits of an under-age character will always seem wrong to me. So I sincerely hope the 4 minutes extra is something worthwhile and not something to make the boys in the crowd sit less comfortably.

Seriously thoug, how many of you are NOT going to go see it? The way everyone has been bitching and griping about him and this film, it would SEEM like most of you have reasonable cause to pass on it...However I know this isn't the case the simple fact is that roughly 100% of you WILL go see it...So you can bitch about Michael Bay all you want (and believe me, I definately think he's a douche) but the bottom line is, he KNOWS that he's in charge of a guaranteed winning property so he knows he can do whatever he wants and BE however heants and we're all going to give him our money anyway...
So in a sense, he DOES have us eating out of his hand...

Of course, I'm totally going to go see it. If I refused to see a movie because the director, instead of inserting plot, filled it with unmotivated and gratuitous skankage, I'd never have seen, well, jeez, any slasher flick, any Vietnam flick, any action flick, etc.
I'd be left watching Lifetime Channel (vomit) or any of those films that promote an equally sexist, though with less skin, image of women--Waiting to Exhale, Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, etc. I like action, thank you very much; not a bunch of soggy sisters sobbing about how their lives are *meaningless* without men. Gagsville.
I'll endure Megan Fox's eating disorder, but there'd better be plenty of hot shots of 'bots to compensate me.
HK, cringing already about how her profession will be Bay-ized.

It could be extra minutes for a cliffhanger ending like with the transfromers were starscream shot of towards Cybertron.
We could get another similar ending with TF 2 but unkown what that will be or how it will be set up.
Arcee is confirmed in the movie but she is also confirmed to be a bot that is going to be killed in the movie cause Mr. Bay let it known that he didnt care to much for Arcee so he is going to kill her in the movie one can only hopes she goes out well in a huge battle scene.
Why are people even talking about TF 3 when it wont even be out for anothter 2 year or so.
It also looks like the transformers animated series might be taking a break for awhile after animated season 3 ends it run later this summer.
I hope I am wrong, maybe they have already been working in secret on the next transformers series.
But in my view it looks like after Animated and Revenge finishes up it looks like Transformers may end up taking a short break for awhile.
I hope I am wrong but they could use the time to do so more DVD Box sets such as the re-release of Generation 1 and make some more DVD sets of series that we never got before such as RID and Victory which would be cool.
So shut up about Transformers 3 when part 2 hasnt even been released yet.
God peole are so annoying talking about stuff that isnt even going to be released for another 2 years or so.

I'm going to be the first to say it; Bay is a total **** asshat who shouldn't be anything more than a PA getting coffee for the producers, and I WILL NOT be seeing this movie at all in theaters.
I won"t buy the DVD, Blu Ray, HDDVD, HDDDVVDDBVD, Netflix streaming, or any incarnation that requires paying to see it.
I will be downloading it once it surfaces online. But in the mean time, I'd rather watch Dragon Ball Evolution 100 times over simply because, while I am a fan of the original Dragon Ball, I would rather watch a movie that is unintentionally bad and has next to nothing besides the character names similar to the base material than subject myself to watching any more of his juvenile, predictable and very lousy "movies", and I use that term very lightly.
I'm done ranting about this movie now.
