Hy i'm new to the boards, so have patience please...... Anyway, from everything that we know about this movie so far...for instance Megatron returning and we all know its not just flashbacks, the fallen, and devistator, over 60 robots who we all wont get to know... and with bay saying this movie is going to stand alone, not continue to the third movie. Do you guys think they might have put a little too much in one movie?, cause thats really the only downfall that i see coming from this movie, the good part is that it seems like the robots are going to get ALOT of more screen time, I just hope it doesnt turn out like spiderman 3 with too much stuff going on in one movie!!!

First, welcome. I do have to warn you, "Seibertron contains nuts..." oh hell, I forgot how the actual warning goes. Anyway, on topic, I don't think there CAN be too much Transformers. Especially since we didn't have enough in the first movie, and assuming, since the writers are the same, the story will suck like the first one did, we should enjoy all the TF goodness we can see. As for this being a stand alone movie, I am not sure what has been said, so I can't really comment, other than I don't think it will be. I thought this will be a part of the trilogy, ending on a somewhat bleak note, as the original Star Wars trilogy did. So we'll see. But, as I said, you can never have too much TF.

I think he meant that they were trying to tell too much story in one movie. And I agree, the first one felt very crammed in with all the various story lines converging at the end, but not in a very smooth fashion. The writers have said many a time that they had to establish ground work, a story, and that was the main objective of the first one. I'll be looking for certain elements in Revenge of the Fallen to see if they're 'ground work' pays off.

In that case, I don't think the writers can handle any
more ideas and details. They couldn't get it right the first time. Hopefully they learned something between then and now. they also wrote the script for the new Star Trek movie. I am looking forward to an action flick, not a geek-off...
