Anybody who thinks those looks photorealistic haven't a good enough grip on reality... Though I guess ILM really shine when their models are put in real settings... We shall see.

I'm only really impressed with Ironhide. Prime has a decent design for the movie, but to me that pose doesn't do that design justice, kind of an awkward pose too if you think about it. I want to see barricade, but if its as decent at blackout there, then I guess thats at least a few designs I'm satisfied with, (I honestly think Ironhide is the winner design wise, just I would like to see how he'd look in that picture red, anyone with good photoshop that can change the black to red?)

Then I guess I'm crazy... or you are, because they look pretty damn photorealistic to me.

who has said that? ILM is the best effects company to combine CG w/ real life...guess you didn't see War of the Worlds. Name an example of a movie/effects house who top that. (and don't name anything attached to Peter Jackson)

Jazz is looking good! They even kept his face for with the visor for eyes.

I think they made a mistake and switched Prime's pose with Bumblebee's. Prime's stance is great if it was Hot Rod. But yeah to me Ironhide is looking better then the rest of the Autobots. Bumblebee too, when he is with his battle mask.

I have to agree with Meverix here, they don't look realistic at all. They're good pictures, don't get me wrong, but they do look like nothing more than artwork. Look at the tones, the textures. They're not alive. They will look a lot different in the final film.

Optimus looks like he's in the middle of the Cybertron-hustle...or the Autobot equivalent to the Robot.

As for the designs, I'd say these characters look like they'd be more at home on Junkion.
Bay said blocky looked silly. Sooooooo.....junky looks better? :???:

I Did see War of the Worlds, and I can't say I was impressed there either. CGI aint there just yet, I think. Look at the texturing on Prime, the silver panels that run along the top of the chest/windows, theyre completely flat (no bolts in them). And to be honest the metal on Prime looks like tin foil. That goes for all of them, actually.
