In a conference call held by Transformers Revenge of the Fallen personnel and IESB.net, the film star Shia LaBeouf gives us some big time hype about the film along with a few bits of info that you may or may not know about his character in the upcoming sequel and why he plays such a key component to both Autobots and Decepticons in the movie.

Some of the info you can read in the "interview" can be gathered from the most recent trailer of the film, but for those of you scrapping to know every bit of info you can on the upcoming sequel to the 2007 Blockbuster hit, click here to help the craving.

In the article Shia says:

That's too bad he didn't get to go to college. But then again, he's already got a good career, so yeah.

alright...when I read this bit my jar dropped...'Decepticons and Autobots need Energon to create armies, to revive fallen comrades'. Jazz for TRANSFORMERS 3!!!!
Im definatl gonna have to buy the dvd, game, all the figures (even that crappy lookin arcee one).

well yeah i can understand the Energon, in Defiance the Fallen was the guardian of the Allspark or something and they needed the power of suns of whatever for the cube. but looks like im gonna have to buy the whole line of this just like i did for the first movie

As a huge Beast Wars fan, I'm glad to see the whole Emergon energy source idea come back.

Well, I guess to start...what do you mean "That's it?" That was what the whole series from G1 through Beast Wars revolved around. Besides, it's not the Energon we care about, it's who gets their a** handed to them in the pursuit of it that counts.

And yeah, I agree, it is a shame that he didn't get to go to college. I waited a long time after High School before attempting to go back and then life threw me a bitch of a curve ball and I had to drop out after the first trimester (specialized school, different schedule than most colleges. Like an Art/Voc Tech school on steroids)
I regret not being able to finish and I know how Shia feels.

K,so the main thing about the BIGGEST FILM OF THE SUMMER is just about..... energon? this is sad.
