even though we saw him in the last trailer...playable breakaway is a bit of a shock to me... and i'm really surprised the twins and sideswipe arent in there as well as soundwave ,ravage or the fallen. i expected not being able to play as devastator. well i suppose there always could be more as unlockables.
also who is grindor?

Grindor? Another mention of this character that allegedly doesn't exist.
Aerielbot? Protectobot? Seeker? Hmmmm....

No Sideswipe? Thats a shock. Thought he was suppose to be the new big character. Get to play as Sideways(Barricade) and thats all i care about.

The other characters might not be playable characters in the game but that dosent mean that they will not be in the game in some form or another.
The Fallen, Devestator and Sounwave could be possible Bosses in the game on the Autobots Campaign Mode.

i'm REALLY hoping you can change the colors on the characters in multiplayer especially the generic aerialbot/protectobot/seeker ones.
and supposedly grindor is supposed to be blackout... so that means most of the cast was playable in the last game. and there isn't really all that much new.

Why no Devastator? Weagh!
Who are breakaway and Grindor? Have we seen them yet?
Wasn't Long Haul designed by omeone on this forum? That must be awesome for him. Shame theres no Demolishor, Blackout, RampageRavage,Soundwave, Jetfire, Scrapper...

weird..
Important characters missing, devastator not playable, and didn't luxoflux told earlier that combaticons will be in the game ? (I'm sure I saw that somewhere)
Activision didn't even mention which platform they are talking about (and since 4-5 different developers handle the various games, I don't think that playable characters will be the same on every version of the game..)

This is very dissapopinting. No Devastator, Fallen, Sideswipe, Rampage, Jolt, Demolisher, Jetfir, Combined Jetfire and Op, Hightower, twins, Soundwave...
I think they should use the characters, but not go with a forced movie storyline with specific objectives, like the Armada game.

Grindor was in the first game... he was one of the people you had to fight as bumblebee and ironhide... the list is somewhat disappointing especially with no Ravage or Soundwave...for crap sake they had Skorpi in the last game!!

Didn't they say that the game had "The biggest selection of Transformers ever"?
As for the characters, I think this list is wrong. A couple of the main bots arn't listed, but are featured in the trailer(s). Either that, or more characters will be released via DLC.
BTW, does this confirm that Breakaway is in the movie?

"biggest selection of Transformers ever" I think they'd like to meet Transformers: Tatakai on ps2. Each faction easily had more than the combined cast mentioned above.

Yep. The first game was bad enough that I can't imagine buying this new one. I will be saving some moola this time around.
