According to a BLOG by Daniel Ross himself, he states that through much hard work and support he has achieved the role of Starscream in Activision's new Transformers: The Movie game, due to hit stores this June.

There is an image capture of his entire BLOG entry here.

So, where does that leave us? We know the game has some new and different voice actors in it including Frank Welker as Megatron, Mark Ryan as Ironhide/Hoist, and now Daniel Ross as Starscream.

News like this kind of makes one wonder who IS doing the voices in the live action film, if they are getting stand ins to do it for the game. Perhaps these VAs are in the movie too? Right now, we can only guess as to who will voice Starscream and Ironhide, and others.

Stay tuned to Seibertron.com for more movie news for toys, voice castings, and anything else that is related to its release in July!

It's not unheard of for movie games to have to have stand-ins for the actual movie actors, but this is just weird. Even the Spider-Man 3 game had everyone except Kirsten Dunst, who could not fit the voice recording sessions into her schedule.

Check his imdb profile here.
He is a TF fan who has done fan dubs of the Japanese stuff, and has recently done some acting. He was in the movie The Sentinel last year with Kiefer Sutherland.

I wonder if they're gonna do like the Armada game and use most of the lines from the animated movie?

Hopefully he fits the role. If he sounds like the Sector 7 clips, that would rock.
