Get out of here if you haven't read the ROTF: Defiance or the movie adaptation comics and don't want to have a plot element spoiled for yourself

thanx and now my topic.

Ok, I'm glad to see that Bay-formers will be including some of the old mythos (Prime Lineage and so for) into his movies.......

but I'm kinda disappointed that it turns out that Megatron is taking orders... :? And yeah, some of you here will say the same thing about the original toon movie but this is kind of different. What's your thoughts on Megs not being the "Big-Bad"?
I hope, if this Megs is like the one we all know and love (some to hate but that's 8) ) I don't see him being this things errand-boy for much longer.

Well, after having read the novelization, I can say that Megatron is a true Decepticon, backstabbing and all. He tolerates the Fallen, rather than serve him. Of course he wants something from the Fallen, which is why Megatron allows him to order him around. Greed and treachery is the bottom line, and it is what makes a decepticon a Decepticon, other than the need for total annihilation for anything and everything.

For real, man? This makes it a lot more tolerable for me.

Finally the real Megatron shows himself!
