i recently read the comic movie adaptation, and i have two things i would like to address about the movie, and get some opinions on.

in the beginning, the twins combine in ice cream truck mode, and i guess reformat later into the chevy beat in trax. do they retain the ability to combine? there has been talk of this, but the book showed no evidence of it.

secondly, i didnt see jolt ONCE. nor have i seen him in the previews. so why would chevy dedicate a new vehicle to an alt mode of one of the tformers, if he doesnt even show up in the story?

I think that Jolt is in the movie, but I believe that he is a bit player in the story.

As far as I know, they only combine that one time at the beginning, and never again.

As far as we know the twins combine in the first scene as an ice cream truck and then later get reformated into the Beat and Spark. Jolt isn't in alot of the books because he was a last minute induction becuase GM wanted the Volt to be included so Bay agreed and added the vehicle in some scenes in the desert and then the CGI so he prolly has a fairly small role.
