I just checked the Bd-live on the Transformers 07 movie and the additional footage is now up .. It's a quick download and the some of the footage is amazing.. There are 3 trailers titled "We're gonna die", "Shanghai" and "Adobe Hut". Also available is a sneal peel into day 1 of shooting for ROTF , A day in the life of megan and Shia and a ton of bonus stuff from the 07 movie including a deleted scene titled "Fig's death".

The 3 little trailers are awesome!!! I have to say I'm suprised the BD-live stuff was this cool .

I just finished checking for the BD-Live update 5 seperate times. If he inserted a new disk, the something tells me they are encoded to connect to a seperate sever that allows for access to the new content. If he used an original Blu-Ray disc, like us, then it may be a matter of uploading the content to different time zones onto the main sever to avoid a system crash. If it's the former instead of the latter, then I am honestly stealing the new Blu-Ray disk; taking it from a store without paying for it. I'm serious.

American consumers (especially TransFans) are made to buy enough -- we have paid for our disks and should NOT be made to buy them a second time JUST for content that should either be available on the second disk upon purchase or for free download as per the reason BD-Live was created in the first place.

If you already have a copy of the Transformers Blu-Ray and a PS3, delete the Transformers cache info on your PS3 and try again. This should work. It did for me.

Three of the videos were part of Circuit City's exclusive content campaign, the Shanghai clip has been circling the net for a while while one was shown at the MTV Movie awards. It is very cool that they added them to the BD-Live experience along with some of the 2007 film's deleted scenes (which are really cool - wish Bay kept them in). It is a great use of BD-Live and a great way to promote the sequel well-after the Blu-Ray was lowered in price for a time ($10 in Best Buy on Black Friday) long enough for many to buy it.

And here I though Paramount was going to pull a fast one on us. They did the opposite; a service to Transfans and film buffs alike. Kudos Paramount...

What I have noticed is that with the new content on the BD live extras, the Sector 7 content has been removed from the lineup. :-x

From what I can recall, the Sector Seven content had been gone for a while; at least a few months maybe. I could be wrong. I'm a bit upset too considering how entertaining the vids were, but I would rather have behind-the-scenes features than anything from the viral marketing campaign since, story-wise, none of it is really canon; it would be like adding 'Saga of the AllSpark' to the main story.

I personally don't like viral marketing, but I'm old-fashioned.

I have a Samsung BD-P1600 BluRay player. All of the BD live content is showing up only as a little rectangle in the top left hand corner of the viewing screen. You know how the blue rectangle with the autobot symbol shows up for the BD live content, well the video is not filling up that whole area... only part of it shows up in the corner like I said. The sound cuts out a couple times too.

Any suggestions?

HELP. :-(

(I believe BD-P1600 is supposed to come shipped with BD Live 2.0, but I could be wrong.)

IGN has posted info and breakdown of BD Live contents:

"We've got the details on the sneak peek of Revenge of the Fallen, plus other new exclusive content.
by IGN Staff
June 18, 2009 - Beginning June 16, consumers who owned or purchased the original Transformers Blu-ray were given access to an exclusive sneak peek at the upcoming sequel film, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen via BD-Live. Those who purchase the original DVD after that date can also access the same content online using an access code provided on the packaging. In addition to uncut scenes from the new film, there's also behind-the-scenes content as well as never-before-seen materials from the original film.

Now that the BD-Live site is live and fully accessible, we had a chance to check out the content to see what exactly it entails. Here's a breakdown of exactly what you'll find.

Revenge of the Fallen Scene: "We're Gonna Die"
This intense scene begins with a car chase as Sam (Shia LaBeouf) and Mikaela (Megan Fox) are chased by a Decepticon in the form of a helicopter, which latches on to the car and carries them away. When it finally lets go, they break through a roof into a warehouse where another destructive robot finds them.

Revenge of the Fallen Scene: "Shanghai"
This scene follows Capt. Lennox (Josh Duhamel) and his team of soldiers (including Tyrese Gibson) through a military siege of a building in Shanghai where more robots in disguise are waiting.

Revenge of the Fallen Scene: "Adobe Hut"
Megan and Shia are trapped in a hut while Decepticons (including Constructicons and Ravager) search the desert outside. But their discovery of a tiny spy robot is their undoing. It ends with an impressive stunt as the two jump from the roof of the building as it's being torn apart.

"From the set of Revenge of the Fallen: Day 1"
An exclusive inside look from the first day of filming on location in Bethlehem, PA. As the crew sets up, they express their excitement for the beginning of the shoot. Director Michael Bay gives them a little pep talk before getting to work, telling them that this is "one of those movies that can really help make a lot of kids dreams around the world." He also brandishies a Nike shoe with the promise, "I'm going to be up all your asses." We also see some of the shooting of the first shot in the movie, which involves a motorcycle chase. There's also a few effects shots and some pretty fiery explosions. Basically, your average day on a Michael Bay set.

"From the set of Revenge of the Fallen: A Day in the Shade"
Described as "a comical look at the differences between Megan and Shia's on-set treatment," this is exactly as advertised. We see a few members of the crew holding umbrellas and fanning Fox with handheld fans, while LaBeouf stands in the sun, smirking at the camera. She protests that it's because she's dressed in a full leather jumpsuit. Uh-huh.

The following Transformers supplemental materials are also being offered for the first time on the BD-Live site:

Transformers Deleted Scene: "Maggie and Glen Introduction"
A deleted scene introducing the characters played by Rachael Taylor and Anthony Anderson from the original film.

Transformers Deleted Scene: "Fig Death"
We see the deleted death scene of ACWO Jorge "Fig" Figueroa, played by Amaury Nolasco, from the original film.

Fly on the Set: Pentagon
On the set filming of the Pentagon Military Command Center.

Music and Mayhem
Renowned special effects house ILM deconstructs the blockbuster action of Transformers.
