I've seen ROTF NO SPOILERS!

Hey guy's, I managed to see ROTF last night. My girlfriend works in the local cinema, and got me into a staff showing, so I thought i'd let you know what I thought about it. Don't worry, i'm not going to give out any spoilers to the story.
It's a hell of a lot bigger than the first one, and as long as you liked that, you'll love this. Don't get me wrong, even though I think the new film is amazing, it's not without a few faults. Most of these are only little things, but the one that really bugs me is the new robots. They spent all that time telling us about 42 transformers being in the film, and yet only a small fraction of those get a speaking line, and out of those few, even less get any sense of characterisation. Some of the new characters are reduced to one, maybe two lines (Sideswipe). Admittedly, the film would have had to have been about six hours long to give each character an on screen personality, but even a little scene like the Autobot's intro in the first film would've helped.
Anyway, that really isn't too much of an issue, as with that many transformers being introduced in the film, I doubt anyone thought that each one would have a speaking role. Getting back to the rest of the film, the human characters are well done once again, and for the most part the humor in these scenes works well.
Action wise, the film is a hell of a lot better than the first, with very little of the up close, fast editing which made it so difficult to see who was fighting who in the first film. Everything is for the most part a lot easier to watch, without losing any of the action. In fact, the action itself is ramped up ten-fold.
One thing which did surprise me was a very brief vehicle mode appearance of someone from the first film who I really didn't expect to see, although ti's never made clear if it is the same transformer.
I could go on, writing about other things I liked in the film, and some of the things I didn't, but to do so i'd have to start with some spoilers. I don't want to ruin the film for anyone, so i'm going to keep quiet. I short, if you loved the first, you'll almost certainly love this one, and if you didn't like the first, this one has a good chance of changing you opinion on the movieverse.
