as part of USA Today's "Design a Transformer" contest, Nizzi entered Longbow, an Apache Attack Helicopter. About his entry, he says "when in robot mode the jets in his feet allow him to maintain flight. The tail rotor expands and becomes a saw on his right arm. On his left arm is the machine gun from the underbelly. Missiles fire from his shoulders."

Like it! Prob better than one or two of the ones from TF2 . . . Cough Mudflap cough . . . I think its awesome, is longbow a TF from any old cartoon Transformers G1 or other?

Shame some of the proper designers didnt come up with this.... will this be used in TF 3 or anything?

That is pretty cool. I'm also liking Downbeat and Remix. Rattle looks wicked too.

I'm very glad he won, and happier he even entered the contest to begin with. He is an amazing talent. Good show Mr. Nizzi, and Kudos to USA Today for recognizing the skills.

=P~

I like that design... but I am somehow partial to "Gigawatt" I'm not sure why... Oh wait, yeah I know why... because I called it in Dec. '07!

Oh and if I would have seen post #1 had it been in its current form then, I would have told 'em good job.

There are some really good ones there. SOme are even better than what we're stuck with in the movies. Any one else find it sad that random people on their free time can make better TFs then Bay and his crew? I have the feeling some of these idea are going to be "borrowed" and used in the next movie. Especially the one that won.
