Yay! More crap! Why is it only the unknown underground people can create faithful remixes and renditions of the themes better than well-known artists?

This song is definitely Linkin Park light, and the video is a little goofy/creepy, but.... IT"S STAN BUSH!! You go Stan, forget the haters and keep on keep on. I'll buy it for 99 cents to help support the guy that gave all us TF fans a great theme song for our passion with the original Touch!!! Plus "Dare" rocked as well - played it as the last song of my wedding. All of my friends were confused and asking who and what the hell is this, but my wife and I rocked out to it!!!

A little more love for Stan - my wife and I met him at Botcon. He was walking through the outer hall of the convention center, nobody paying him much attention. So, we walked up to him to say hi. He was so friendly and humble. I asked for a pic, but then realized that I wanted my wife in it as well, so we had no one to take it. Stan said not to worry, and then ran off and grabbed a Hasbro employee to take it for us. Nice guy!! :APPLAUSE:

It should have been as far as I'm concerned. There were one or two spots where it would have actually fit well playing in the background.

A lot of you youngsters, I realize, have a hard time with this song or any of Stans stuff in general. That's a shame since there is a whole lot more to music in general than just the rehashed, overdigitized crap that seems to be bleeding over into every genre. Stan's music comes from the end of an era when folks actually had talent and didn't have to rely on computers to make their stuff presentable but that is something most folks today seem to have a hard time grasping. No respect for history and for getting back to the basics. All the bands you kids listen to today, even Linkin Park, owe the old schoolers big time for their past contributions and the ones worth a damn will actually admit that they owe them. Those that don't aren't real musicians and have no right being in the industry.

Stan didn't make it onto the TF 1 or 2 soundtracks but here's hoping that 3rd times a charm.

Hearing that is about the closest to a "warm-fuzzy" feeling as I could possibly get. There's hope for this generation yet.
Stick to your guns! You have good taste. :P

Actually the new version of the Touch is growin' on me, I agree its kinda Linkin Park-esque and the goofy Rap thing in the middle of all the Metal shredding is kinda... weird. Although in the words of Peacy P (cudos to those of you who get the reference) "Mixin' rap and metal... like the early ninties! 91 or 93... Anthrax and PE..."

The original "The Touch" has that kinda... very 80s rock sound. Not as "crunchy" as some of the "hott lixx" in the new version but its got a charm all its own. Both songs are pretty motivational, surprised you never hear them being played ad nauseum at business conferences or seminars. Its got a nice "pump you up" kind of feel, second one's a bit more mellow, but its good too.

Stan Bush is sort of what I would call the "classic old school 80s rocker". Not well known, but has enough elements of all that sorta made the 80s rawk.

Although I hate to say it, but lately I've been going "I've got the touch! I've got the power!" when I fix something. I really need to get that as my ringtone!
