Oddly enough, when I saw them I first thought "I wonder if Hasbro will give us a Wrecking Ball constructicon?"

So they're not signed for TF3? Good. I hope they won't write it.

There is really an Interview about Devastator's Robo-Jewels? Devastator HAS Robo-Jewels? What's going on here? I mean, really. What the <bleep> is really going on here?

I wouldn't have minded the "testicles" joke as much if it wasn't the THIRD testicles joke they did in the film.

Its sad the one use for Devastator that successfully hit me was 'comic relief' in that I didn't know about and wasn't expecting giant balls dangling, so I laughed. Sure, I shook my head and buried my face in my hand momentarily, but it started off as a laugh.

Rodimus Prime wrote:So they're not signed for TF3? Good. I hope they won't write it.

Me too. A third and final installment of this needs to be something epic with the fat & farts cut away, and I don't think they have it in them to pull that off. What the last film needs is a quality writer that gives a great pace and doesn't sacrifice precious time to meandering schooldays humor. Don't get me wrong, I laughed at plenty of things like the rest of the crowd, but that's not what the last flick needs to be at all. Problem is, whoever it may be to write, they gotta get past Bay's ironfist, and what he'd do with that ironfist on screen..

I swear to god this is the tenth time this story has been in my RSS feed (and i only have this, TFlamb, io9, and Gizmodo that report on transformers). Can it go away now? they really dont say ANYTHING of interest. so Ehren made up the testiculator joke. did he make up the other five testicle joke/references too? does anyone actually care? really?

I gotta say, this was one of the worst moments of the film. Really, they could have given the movie some humor without it being so low-brow.

I still chuckled a bit, but mainly groaned when they were dangling and clanging together... lame.

I agree. I think I like their movies despite the scripts they write.

This movie could've been a LOT better without the excessive, unnecessary innuendo. I mean, sure the first movie have some potty humor, but this movie just went overboard.

This is just one of those rare occasions that proves that sometimes cleaner is better.

Remember, there is a difference between being funny and dirty.

I really hope they're not on for the 3rd one. Maybe if we get some real writers on board they'll have the "balls" to tell bay "your idea sucks we're not doing it" & we'll get a good movie. As for Devastators "balls of steel" i think it was unneeded. There was so much crude infantile humor in this movie it was retarded.

I'm sorry to say, but this actually represents the cleverest of the movie's bathroom-esque humor. It was so unnecessary at times.

Mr. Bay, keep making things explode. Subtle humor is what this movie needed, and it was in such short supply.

Devastator balls, along with the dog and Wheelie humping moments, just nearly ruined the entire damn film for me. If those kind of scenes were left out, or at least minimalized, this movie could have been way better.

The balls were on-screen for less than 10 seconds, the dog humping less than 15 seconds.

You mean that in the 9,000 second movie, that those 25 seconds or so (0.27%) almost ruined it?

Are we exaggerating or being serious here?

(I could have done without them as well, but the other 8,975 estimated seconds out-weighed it for me.)

I'm glad they'll be gone. The epic action scenes are Bay's doing, not the innuendo and outright sexual content. Hopefully we'll get some writers that actually know how to handle a good sci-fi epic with giant robots.

When I went to go see this movie, there was like 5 six year olds there. This was way innapropriate for them, the balls made it worse. I did think it was a little funny

Let's see, there was:
  • The dog on dog scene
  • Another dog on dog scene
  • close up of Simmons' butt as he yanks his pants off
  • Leo's pants dropping
  • Jetfire farting parachutes
  • Wheelie on Mikaela's leg
  • Mikaela on top of Leo
  • Said scene has him saying she's crushing his balls
  • Devastator's scrotum
Any others?

If a six year old boy doesn't know what balls are, I'd say there's trouble.

Did people who didn't like the writing in TF2 hate the writing in Star Trek? It was written by the same guys (Orci and Kurtzman) and I saw very few complaints about Star Trek's pacing or plot.
