Which Characters Should Have Lived? SPOILERS

A lot of characters bit the dust in ROTF and a few good ones died in the first movie too. It got me thinking, who do I wish Bay would have spared?

After all, the more we see a character the more we get to know them and love them. This was true in the cartoons. We saw the same core of Autobots and Decepticons over and over in the first season and most of season two. Then Hasbro whacked most of our favorites in the animated Transformers movie and it went downhill after that.

For me, the character that should have been spared is BLACKOUT. I rewatched the first movie again last night. The opening scene where Blackout transforms and obliterates the Air Force base in Quatar is classic. He was awesome!

I loved Jazz, but Blackout was a menace and the best new character in the first movie.

I also wish Ravage would have survived in ROTF. He was so instrumental in the cartoon and he was terrific in ROTF. I didn't care much for most of the other bots that died, except maybe Jetfire. I wish the Twins had died.

Jetfire should have stayed alive, He was such a great character and his combining skills with prime could have been helpful a second time around. Also I do think Jazz should have stayed alive as well.

I actually had no problem with who died. Jetfire could have been spared to link up with Prime more than once. I look at it that this isn't the cartoon where there is a big ballte and no one dies. That is a bit unrealistic to expect. There had to be casualties and I can respect that. Everyone that died, mostly did in a valient way, like Jazz taking on Megatron, or Jetfires sacrifice or even Ravage being "skinned" by Bumblebee.

Maybe to appease the masses, maybe lesser known minor characters could have been inserted for small roles for cannon fodder instead of a known major player like Jazz being knocked off.

I had no problems with Jazz dying. It was sad, but it made for a more dramatic movie and ending. I think Mudflap should have died when Devastator sucked him in. Killing off one of the Arcee bots didn't affect me at all. I didn't relate to them because they were barely on screen.

I also think John Tutorro's character should have died on the pyramid. They set it up for him to die and then he lives. WTF??? His death would have been sad, but it would have been believable.

Blackout was an awesome character. I'd sacrifice all the nameless Decepticons for him.

i think ravage should have lived, i mean come on! its ravage! you dont just kill off ravage! also jetfire, and most of the decepticons, the only confirmed decepticons that survived were soundwave, megs, and starscream. i love the twins and they should continue to live in the next film. sideways should have lived! i love any TF that is named sideways! it was just a slaughter house of decepticons, good decepticons were lost, and any arcee bikes that died (if any) should have lived.
