Now, I say, Revenge of the Fallen was kind of an in-betweener on me. The scenes with Optimus and all of them were great, but I wasn't very keen on much of the redundant, unnecessary humor all over. It couldn't have stooped THAT low in that regard.

But now then, how do you think the next movie, if ever, should be? I'd say it should be something like "Attack of the Pretenders".

There needs to be more explanation of these things (and more of them to boot). And that was IMO the biggest plot hole in the movie by far.

When did the Transformers actually start assuming human forms anyways? And Alice really can't be the only one of them all here. She could have at least had a Deception-sign necklace as an indicator. How did she come about anyways and all that?

If you ask me, no she wasn't hot. Because she was a Decepticon. There, I said it. IF she wasn't, however, she would have served as a valuable...asset to the Autobots in their struggle. (Yeah, I know, shoot me for that retarded pun plz)
If only there was a credits scene (extra) that involved her...

Maybe even have some other human character having constant issues with being "not human". And see more Pretenders being used by the US Army and what-not to take care of the Decepticons and all.

But yeah, that's it from me about that. Got that recorded and off my chest, and now you may say what you will.

My point was, unless she will be explained and there are more Pretenders all over, this part is going into my "That Wasn't Supposed To Happen" list.

Eh, you're probably misunderstanding, but not her, just more insight to Pretenders.

I didn't like it either, mainly because of no explanation to it, just a fast one pulled on us. She would have been way better and more helpful if she was not a Decepticon.

Guess Michael Bay really does love his plot holes.

I wouldn't mind seing more Pretenders, so long as they were given a backsotry and were treated more similar to the Masterforce Pretenders.

Like, can you imagine what a Movie version of Metalhawk would be like? That would be awesome.

What kind of human form would MetalHawk be? Who do you think should play that one? Hoping this one won't be a Decepticon.

I'll say it again, but the third movie's biggest focus should be on Pretenders. Humans in the crowd...Some of they may be Pretenders, while others aren't. Some that are may not even know that they're Pretenders anyway. If one of them can do this, why not many more?

More "humans" as Pretenders, and another female Pretender who isn't a Decepticon for the third movie. That's all I ask.

Damn, this is driving me crazy, I'd go batcrap insane if Pretenders aren't further expanded upon in the next movie. (And I completely forgot to yell "CHEESE" at the top of my lungs, a particular requirement when you go batcrap insane)

I say no to the Pretenders idea. Its just not that widely know outside of the TF Universe. You make a story about Pretenders, people will think its a Terminator knock off movie. People not close associated with TF are already confused why they thought there was a Terminator in their Transformer movie. I just think it would be a bad idea. It may be fine if they include them in a very limited role but not as the main focus. It just won't go over well.

I dunno, if you make a movie with loads of pretenders scenes, it kind of negates the point of making a TF movie because it basically amounts to watching a group of humans fighting.

careful to not turn this into a Terminator movie. I was fine with this one becuase it took me by surpise. But once the suprise is gone its kind of not cool anymore.

Gotta agree with Ev here. It's just not a familiar concept to the mainstream audience - or even casual Transformers fans. It's run its course in the live-action franchise.

I'm going off subject a bit here, but it's been mentioned elsewhere, so I'll say it here. I'm also not keen on the idea of bringing in the Headmasters or Powermasters either, at least not in the manner more knowledgable fans are familiar with. If the writers can make it work, fine, but if not, audiences might think they're watching a Power Rangers movie.

As I said, maybe not too much of them. Just a little more insight as to when Transformers can also be Terminators now.

Either that or Alice would have been much better off passed onto the Terminator franchise. Just imagine how this would go; probably make the Terminator series a lot better.

Or maybe, eureka! I have found the solution! Alice just had a case of "Oops, Wrong Movie" Syndrome with an original intent of appearing in Terminator Salvation, for all I know. Through some strange developmental hiccup, she was actually supposed to be in that movie instead, but somehow passed onto the Transformers universe after getting thrown out of Terminator. See? Plot hole filled! i r so samrt!!

Oh, the darnedest of things to be said...

i didn't like the pretender scenes in the movie. i thought it was wasted time that could have been used to develop characters. for the third one i'd prefer them to leave the pretenders out altogether and maybe give us a bit of insight into Jolt, Sideswipe, the remaining Arcee bike, or some screen time with whatever new characters are thrown at us. Transformers movies should focus on robots, not robots disguised as "hot chicks"! just my two cents.

Transformers has always been mainly focused on robots turning into cars. thats how it should be

Then what's with all the other kinds of altmodes over the years? Plus, there a LOT less Decepticons that become cars than there are Decepticons that become other altmodes.

A car is just one out of many possible altmodes for TFs.

Well, It was fun seeing the pretenders again. I dont know though how we could get another one in Movie 3, but I would like it to be a Metalhawk inspired Autobot Pretender to come in and this time explain his reasons for being in the film in the first place that Alice failed to do.
