User Created DVD/Blu-Ray Cut... A thought.

Okay, we have enough threads going one way or another to fill a few dozen Long Hauls. However, something I haven't seen so far is the following. Director Cuts are released all the time for movies that are panned or so chopped up when released to theater that there's no other choice BUT to release a new cut. And after watching the movie, thinking on it for a long time, I have to say, I think ROTF can actually be made into a coherent movie without cutting any of the action. I know, crazy. I've been replaying it in my head and I can actually see where certain moments can be cut and swapped and shortened to make things run way more smoothly while also cutting a lot of the fat and in turn trimming down the run time. And I gotta say, I am definitely planning on doing this when it's released on disc. However not only for me, but for my parents as well. What can I say? They're old, easily offended and need some semblance of plot to actually watch a movie. In that aspect, I think it's become sort of a mission for me.
So, curious.... Anyone else thought of doing this? And in that regard, what would you modify (in the context of what is actually available on film for you to work with) to make your perfect cut of Revenge of the Fallen?
Personally.... The Pretender can be completely skipped in my book. His mother going crazy from a pot brownie is another example. Heck, a lot of the college crap aside from what actually pertained to the story (him writing the symbols) can be cut out. Just removing that keeps the story much more focused on the main plot, removes a useless robot and cuts about 10 minutes off the run time.
