The Transformers live action franchise has quickly developed a reputation for its star-studded soundtracks. Among others, Linkin Park's "The New Divide" and "What I've Done" and The Goo Goo Doll's "Hold On" have been majorly successful songs to be featured on a Transformers soundtrack.

Another such song is "21 Guns" by Green Day. For those of you who enjoy the song and its accompanying video, there is good news. 21 Guns has now officially been nomianted for "Best Rock Video" at MTV's Video Music Awards (also known as the VMA's)

i like greenday & the song but i didnt understand the music video it just showed bullets shooting through a room woman & man being scared duccking for cover, linkin park i understood & liked better it showed footae from the film

Why in the hell would they choose this one over New Divide?

Truthfully I am not a Green Day fan at all these days because almsot all of their stuff is full of hidden rhetoric.

I personally love the heck out of "New Divide" but that's not a choice unfortunately.

Green Day Rocks!!! 21st century breakdown is hands down their best album. I am a linkin park fan, but new divide isn't that good, it's too mainstream. 21 Guns is way better than New Divide.

I don't like the song. "New Divide" was much better, though I think "Burn It to the Ground" by Nickelback was the best song on the soundtrack.

Green Day've been a pretty good band, so I'm not a total hater on them.

However, know what song I can't stand? 21 guns.

Know what was my least favorite part of RotF was? No, it wasn't mudflap, skids, john turturro's ass shot. It was the fact that they played that damn song 5 TIMES in the whole movie. Did it really need to be played 5 times? I mean....c'mon.

It's the VMA's man.. Not like it's the Grammies.. The VMA's are a joke.. A popularity contest amongest teenagers and nothing more..
