Just like with the first DVD release of Transformers the live action movie, Revenge of the Fallen will be getting an exclusive release that has a special transforming case based off of one of the movie characters.

Last time, Target Stores got a shot at selling heroic Autobot Leader Optimus Prime as the exclusive case. This time, it looks like Big Brother Bumblebee will be getting the treatment.

The cases are currently listed at hmv.com as exclusives to the UK based shop. You can view DVD and Blu Ray listings for the two exclusives, here and here, respectively.

No word on what other stores may be receiving this exclusive case globally, but we'll keep you posted on any information as it becomes available.

So if I order this, will it play in a US DVD player? I don't have a Region Free player (or one that's hackable for that matter) I might just get it to complete the "collection ( I have the other two of course) and still get the Best Buy Blu-Ray version, that head is really cool.

I own 3 copies of the first movie thanks to these transforming cases! Optimus, Megatron and a standard one to actually watch without moving half of my OP and Megs collections to get to! Bumblebee? Fine I'll do Bumblebee but that's it! No Starscreams, no Fallens, no (god help us all) Devastators!

EXCELLENT! I have Optimus and Megatron, this will go great, if out of scale. My daughter's into Bumblebee, tho, there's a chance I might have to give it to her. Or get two. :-?

If it follows the first movie, this'll be a Target exclusive in the US.

I like my Prime transforming case and I'll definitely get this one!

So basically this may end up becoming a Target exclusive like the Optimus Prime version.. similar to that release if anyone remembers.. it was exclusive to certain foreign online shops before becoming the Target "official exclusive"..

So I hope Target does that again.. this would be a nice addition to the Optimus DVD set for the 1st movie..

Im not even sure if im going to buy this movie. Yeah id love to see the Optimus fight scene and a few of the other scenes i thought were good but thats only about 30-40min of video. Not sure spending almost $30 on a bluray is worth it even if it has a transforming case.

Excuse the ignorance, but I've never seen the transforming case in person, and can't get a sense of how 3D that BB is.

But to those that got the first one, is the case the standard thickness or roughly so? Like it'll sit with my other dvd's nicely? Or is it thicker and oddly shaped?
