Hmmm... interesting. I bought the prequel novel at Wal-Mart for about $5, so this isn't bad. Though, I will not be buying this, since I feel it's a terrible decision to release the novel before the movie. I know this is done all the time, but I'll practically have to avoid this board for the entire month of June, so that I won't have the movie completely spoiled for me. :(

my reasoning for reading it is a bit odd. I want a chance to see the movie, in my mind, with the chars as their G1 aspects... but the new chars will probably be as they are... it happened with ghosts of yesterday. SS was g1 ss, kinda fun :D

I was sort of half and half with GOY on the voices in my head. I couldn't help but hear Gary Chalk as Prime. Starscream I filled in with the voice from the sound clips we've heard. Barricade was Kieth David. Jazz was Will Smith. The others I just sort of used the voices I can do and they fit well. :D

I was at Walmart however today and didn't see the novel anywhere. And I only looked because I saw that it was in stock earlier today online.

Will smith... *squeek!*

I heard BB, jazz, op, ratchet as their g1 voices... GOY was fun I read it again the other night.... I may read it again if I can't cure this insomnia.

I wish they'd gotten Furman to write this. Claremont wrote the X-men novels and Peter David wrote the Spidey novels. No one knows TFs better than Furman.

If you do a book search, it looks like most of the movie books are available already.
