How does Blackout transform without Scorponok?

From what I've seen of the trailers so far it looks like all of the shots in the city will be the big city battle that was mentioned by Michael Bay towards the end of the film. They've shown a lot of shots of Blackout in the city but none of Scorponok, which leads me to believe he gets killed in the dessert. So, I wonder how Blackout transformers without him? Is there a big gaping hole where he goes? Or can Blackout rearrange himself to still look the same in helicopter mode even when Scorponok's not attached?

i'd say that's a fair assessment.

You do realize Blackout is not really a helicopter, so mimicking every single part is not the goal.

it is also known that scorponok is not that big in relation to Blackout, so any gaping space left by scorpy not being there would be minimal.

isnt scorponok just in a cage? if he is, then that cage would just come off, and it wouldnt look bad at all. i doubt we'll even notice the difference, if there even is any.

i think scorp rides with blackout just once in the movie from what i know...but there is a clip of him just blowing out of his back in the trailer and that **** looks sweet....i wont spoil it but after his big sand battle i think he is just awol for the rest of the movie..

now before i get slammed by a script nazi its been over a year since i read it so my memory is a tad rusty....poof 8)

ye, i dont see any other time that he would be back with him. he probly just deploys him so he can kill ppl, and thats it and he gets left all alone haha.

and by the way..can someone send me a link to the leaked script. like, is it the whole script? or just the first 5 pages or sumthing, cuz ive read sumthing like that.

the ghosts of Yesterday book reffered to scorponok as Blackout's symbiote. So he may not need him, but I'll say they benefit from each other's company.

I say scoriy is just afriend, not a part of Blackout. Since he's just in a chage, it won't make any difference to Blakout if he's there ore not.

No, that's just the toy for Blackout, in the actual film Scorponok is part is Blackout's helicoptor mode, he's like the intakes right below the propeller blade or something. That's why Scorponok has those markings on him that say, "No Step", "Danger", "Rescue", etc.

I think it is as someone else stated earlier, a symbiote relationship. Mutally-beneficial, with lots of teamwork, obviously.

I just hope Scorponok gets lots of airtime, and in the sequel, if there is one, he gets a BIG mode...just as the good Lord intended.

in GOY they did some serious damage to Starscream with something. Not sure what sort of warhead they used on him though.
