I know people keep wondering if he will scan something in the sequel...and many wonder what it will be...

The truth is, Meg' is so big he won't have an earth mode. Unless someone here tell me something actually reflect his mass...
Maybe a huge tank....but i don't think there will be something THAT huge. C'mon, he's 25 feet high!!!

These are kind of lame, but he could be one of those giant dump trucks or that enormous excavator that Cyb. Metroplex is supposed to be. With all the metal moving that they do with the movie Transformers, they could make it look solid even though most of the thing is just frame. Of course he'd be shorter than his alt mode.

I do see it making sense that there isn't much to scan when he's as big as he is (besides a building) but these are Transformers, they can do anything the writers tell em to. Realistically, he wont because he doesn't NEED a disguise. What, on this planet, would pose enough of a threat to him that he'd want to hide from it in a disguised form? The other deceps, sure, they might not handle nuclear blast (should things get bad enough) but him.. He could EAT nuclear.

(yeah yeah these are other transformer alt modes, but don't say he's too big for these)

and yeah he would need to find a disguise...he'd be getting attacked 24/7 if he didn't.

it makes sense that megs doesnt need an earth form..hes not conscerned with protecting earth..

the only reason the other bots have alternate modes is because they were hiding untill starscream gave the word...otherwise they wouldnt have a disguise either...

Megatron isn't that big. An M1A2 Abrams is 70 tons worth of metal. It's 32.25 feet long, 12 feet wide, and and 7.8 feet tall. That's a lot of space.

Besides, wasn't it said that Blackout was the largest of all of the Decepitons? The MH-53 Pave Low has a wing span of 72 feet, is 88 feet long, and 25 feet tall.

I'd make Megs a B2 Spirit myself. It's 62 feet long, 172 feet wide, and weighs 79 tons completely unloaded (168.25 tons fully loaded).

There are plenty of vehicles out there.

In the game, Meg' is a Stealth Bomber...maybe you ARE right about the B-2!!!

Megatron hates Earth and everything associated with it. He insults Prime for "Speaking the language of the insects" and doesnt want to downgrade himself to that of a human, so he doesnt want an earth mode

More like 40 feet high.

But I think an SR-71 would be appropriate. Perhaps a Space shuttle.

megatron dont have an alt mode because the writers were to stupid to give him one...no more no less

I think in the sequel megatron will have to get an altmode, remember this is also a property owned by Hasbro, and they seem to think that kids attention spans are like 5 minutes, so with that they would certainly need a new alt mode for megatron so they can release a totally different toy, but my guess is Megatron will still have his cybertronian form for the first part of the sequel, that way hasbro can sell off the Megatron's that didn't get sold during the first one..

Remember this is after all a toy company property, and the only reason its being made is to make money..

hence all the changes to the property to bring in the masses, and hence pissed off G-1 Purists..

Not to mention that Story content wise, megatron will want to hide so that he can sneak around and plot evil schemes against the Autobots and the Governments of Earth..

No, there was some Bay quote awhile ago where he rattled off the heights of a few TFs. Megs was somewhere between 32 and 35 feet high and Prime was 28 feet.

Remember this is after all a toy company property, and the only reason its being made is to make money..

Everything that happens in the movie is all by Bay and Dreamworks, Hasbro is just throwing out merchendise to make money. It is probable that Hasbro may consult Bay/Dreamworks to give Megatron an Earth mode for TF II.

Like I said, Megatron feels no need to disguise himself. He doesnt fear the humans, he doesnt need to hide from them. Besides, he has alot of pawns to do his bidding, so Megatron doesnt even have to lift a finger

Theres got to be so many large tanks and jets that Megs could use as an alt mode. Blackout is the biggest Decepticon and he found an alt mode without any trouble.

why and how would he do that....he is frozen for like the whole damn movie...after he gets out its just a mad dash to get the cube of destiny...if they wrote it diffent then he would be out sooner and it would stand to reason to anyone with a brain that he would pick an alt mode....again its just poor writing
