I think this is new.
I wonder who that yellow one is.

The yellow one looks like whatever they're calling the 3rd one, Flareup/Elita-1. That's similar to what I was expecting it to look like, except less of a mess.

"Motorcycle Gang"? Where's the other 2 heads? I thought the 3rd bike would've been purple?

Yeah the yellow one's hand (the figure's right hand) looks like a larger version of the energon-blady thing in drawings I've seen of Flareup. And Flareup is purple. As we saw in the movie, right? Three cycle bots: blue, purple and (gag) pink.

Still an interesting combining concept!

My issue is it doesn't seem like only three bots--I see Chromia as the base, Arcee as the back and arm, and the gold one just seems too big to be one cycle bot.

HK ?

It says combo mode 03, maybe it'll have a RiD Landfill rotating gimmick.

That could be interesting. If she gets airborne from an attack, she'll always have a wheel to land on. Can't keep a good Fembot down.

That actually was my first thought.

Exactly, maybe this concept was how they were originally gonna protray the 3 sisters.

Well not sure if it's been discussed before but in the movie novel you discover that all three bikes are Arcee. She is basically able to split into the 3 bikes/bots to fight and move or can combine into a larger whole unit to fight. But since the novel is based on early version of the script it seems they have strayed away from this idea and started naming the other cycles as bots. Or maybe she has split personalities...

I think that's how it worked in the movie too. All three were referred to as Arcee, They probably just gave the toys different names to tell them apart.

Not that this news but I wouldn't have been able to tell it from the movie. I just assumed they were a fighting unit meaning 3 'girl' bikes headed by Arcee. If I hadn't read the book I wouldn't have had clue they were one 'mind' as it were.

It seems like a clusterf*** that they didn't take time to think of the combination much better.
I can't really tell where are the arms and legs and other parts.

Honestly, the first version of Arcee (TF Movie 1) is much better than the recent one.

The colors are WAY messed up. The pink has three wheels and the gold only has one.

The gold one actually appears to be Chromia.
If you look at her robot mode in the comic adaptation her left arm looks the same as the right arm of this combo. And the headlight at the base of the combo is hers.

Either that, or like you said it was based on an earlier script. Maybe in the earlier script, Arcee was intended to be able to combine thus they had one name, Arcee.

Oh dear,
Someone must have been drunk when they designed this......

This reminds me of an earlier post, in the toy thread I think it was. Someone was trying to figure out how to combine the bike-formers into one bot. After seeing this, I don't think they were too far off. In fact I think theirs was better.
Wow.

Just wow.

Like a trainwreck....dont want it to happen....but....can't...look away! @_@

Considering the design I am going with the multi-personalities theory. To put it delicately certain times of the moon-cycle I feel like I have several personalties.

Me: Oh Thank!! you baby!! for the cadbury candy bar! YOUR so Wonderful!

Husband: Your welcome...

Me: Why did you pause there.. what you saying I shouldn't really eat this???

Husband: No NO..I was just saying welcome!

Me: Oh YEAH...*twitches and notice the mailman delivery stuff and not getting the box closed before driving off* THAT frigin ..WHY can't he even manage getting that closed..MEN ALL of you are ALIKE!!! FINE FINE I will get the mail and CLOSE THE BOX. *storms off* I hope someone tries to break in tonight so I can try the new shot gun....*grins wickedly*

Husband: *exits stage left finding a cubby in his office to hide.

(This is a dramatic interpretation, no husbands, mailmen, or house thieves we're hurt during this production. No I am not this bad though sometimes some those thoughts to cross my mind. In general I just bite me tongue really hard and play City of Villains crushing do gooders until it passes.)

Really guys we don't mean it but hormones are a real witch.

I mean honestly if femme bots have cycles like us earthly females they just need to point them at decepticons at that time it be over quick or they all turn coat. *winks*

But yes the design is a train wreck like Josh said, while interesting I think it needs to be pushed bit harder to be little clearer as what is going on. But I felt like some the other designs were weak too and didn't make lot technical sense what so ever too.

Steve Jung, whom designed much of the concept art for the film, Transformers Revenge of The Fallen, has posted concept art for Arcee, Chromia, and Flareup's combined form which was cut from the film. To view the image on Steve's online portfolio, please click here.

That is the ugliest piece of scrapmetal ever built. It would fit into most of the bayformers well.
