It would seem that there is no end to the amount of new Transformers Movie TV spots this week. There was the spot that aired during Family Guy on Sunday, as well as another TV spot that aired during American Idol. All this on top of the official theatrical trailer and the international trailer.
Now, another new TV spot has aired, this time during the season final of Heroes last night. You can check out the spot, which feature a new shot of Scorponok fighting in the desert, on Youtube by clicking here

Seen it last night. If they keep makeing diffrent TV spots by the time th movie comes out the hole dsesert scene would have been shown already. Evrey one has more of the deert scene. Maybe give us something new like Barricade transforming or a good shot of Brawl.
There was one during american idol? Who the hell were they targeting little girls? Was that another diffrent one or one we've seen?

I really wish they'd stop spotting Tyrese's "Bring it!" line. Its so gay.
I take that back, cause thats offensive to homosexuals, which I dont want to do (being gay would be a step UP for this line). It just plain sucks.

I like the way they say "They can hide anywhere" and then show a clip of Skorpy. Cos you see giant metallic scorpions running arounde verywhere.

Because if you were a "bad ass" marine and something was attacking you and you were going to fight back and were all pumped to do so you wouldnt say something to effect of "bring it" or "come get some motherfer". I sure as hell would if I thought I was a bad ass.
I'm using the term "you" in general sense and don't mean you specifically first gen. The reason it's there is too evoke the feeling that even though these big "f"ing robots are "f"ing up our planet with their war that we are not completely helpless in the matter and that we can fight back.

I felt like I was channeling Shia there for a minute.

first i agree that they have show enough of scoropnok in the desert makes me wonder if thats all he's in the movies. jumping out of the sand a few times and then thats it we dont see him anymore. altough i do like thats it's a different scene.
second with all of the tv spots thier doing i hope that they we atleast show all of the transformers either in robot mode or alt mode.

While I agree with you point Chris, I, myself, am a Marine. Tyrese plays an Airmen or something Air Force related I believe in the movie. I mean c'mon, everyone knows the Air Force is the brains of the military and only they have the cool new computer systems that Blackout will try to hack in his first scenes. So the badass factor is kinda lost in that.
And isn't "Bring It" a cheerleading term???

they had another TV spot that aired in the second hour of the season finale of 24 as well. Which was different from any other I have seen before. It showed Blackout transforming at the base but from a different angle so you saw most of the transformation, as well as a few more scenes there at the base which showed the C-130 Hercules being attacked, or the robots running in front of it, was hard to tell. Those were the new scenes if I recall.
I am so excited I can't wait for this movie.

There was yet ANOTHER TV spot today while I was watching Sportscenter on ESPN...it turns out the NBA is getting in on the action now, cross-advertising TF with the NBA playoffs, cutting back and forth from movie scenes to NBA playoff shots. Damn it, EVERYONE is getting in on this!!

Considering that some Transfan was watching enough of it know the commercial was played during an intermision, it would seem the "target" was the general audience who watches American Idol (a show I personally have never watched.) Besides, can't girls like Idol
and Transformers too? I think they can.

After I posted this, I decided to check out the main nba site,
http://www.nba.com, and lo and behold, there is a banner connecting to the Transformers movie page right on the main page! Props to David Stern for knowing a good thing when he sees it, and to the TF marketing guys for realizing that more and more kids are watching the NBA.
EDIT: I have seen the NBA/TF commercial at least once an hour all day.

American Karaoke really is a good idea, but it's too bad they don't take the very best for the show. At each of the tryouts they are told they will be picking ONLY THE SINGERS the will give the show ratings. They aren't concerned with seeing who the best voices in the country are...which, as a musician, I find totally distasteful and disappointing.

^i agree, its all a big scheme to develop an artist while building ratings so that when the artist makes thier album they allready have garenteed sales
its really pretty clever from a business standpoint though
