What are you talking about? Again, Government does not own GM, and that had nothing to do with the decision to use GM vehicles. It was the fact that they donated vehicles for the film. I can't see why you can't grasp this.
Metal Monkey wrote:No one said they had to use a new Beetle....could of used an older or something closer than a Camaro. Bumblebee is not a warrior, yet they made him one more so in the movies.
65' beetle, or concept Camaro... A beetle might have worked in the cartoon, but not so much in the movies.
You also need to look at this from a general audience's point of view and not a fan. I still remember the theater going nuts when BB made his appearance in the tunnel as the Concept camaro.

So scanning GM vehicles takes away from "realism" of giant alien robots that turn into various vehicles that are raging war on planet earth... Ya, i guess that would subtract from the realism.
Metal Monkey wrote:I mean seriously..."lets go to Earth and all be GM cars and trucks". Either way it is pure stupidity. They are only going to add to it. To many damn Chevys.....
Then you foot the bill for vehicles to be used in the movie.
Look, I'm not trying to wage war with you or say I'm right your wrong. Cause that's not the case. But one does need to understand that movie like these aren't cheap. Its not as easy as just removing an emblem from each vehicle. Can it be done? Sure. But at a cost. And for many, that would be taking away from realism.
"hey, why is it that every transformers emblem is removed?"
Anyways, there not all Chevy's... There's GMC, Pontiac, and Hummer!
