Wreckage and Thundercracker
Posted: Tue May 22, 2007 11:04 pmOK I hate the movie designs for Megatron and Starscream, they look absolutly awful. On the other hand I have seen the toys for Wreckage and Thundercracker.
Wreckage has a fairly nice alt mode and robot mode with a head that could pass for Megatron.
Thundercracker is made from the same mold as Starscream so it still resembles that of a monkey but on the pluse side they did use a different head that looks more like the G1 Seekers.
I've gotten so many kitbash ideas from these movie toys I might have more fun with them than the movie itself.
Kitbash Ideas:
Kitbash 1: Buy Protoform Prime and repaint in proper Optimus Prime colors, no more greyish blue.
Kitbash 2: Buy Movie toy (non move character) Thundercracker and Starscream. No repainting necissary just reverse heads.
Kitbash 3: After doing 2 I may reapint the one with the ugly head as Waspinator.
Kitbash 4: Repaint Wreckage as G1 Megatron
I'll probly buy 2 Protoform Primes just so I have one untouched version as I do colect the TF leaders I'm going to call him Ultra Magnus though.
