You know, fans deciding to go out and buy cars that look just like Jazz and Bumblebee.

And yes, there's a car commercial featuring Jazz.

Think that will happen?:) (Heck, they're beautiful cars anyway.

No.

Sales of GM cars may get a slight rise but cars aren't something the vast majority American society as a whole just goes out and buys because they saw one in a movie (on account of them costing thousands of dollars and most people already having one).

If GM does get a sales boost it may cause an increase in car sales later on though, after they break down in a year or two or people discover they've been sold lemons.

There will be fans with money who want to drive Jazz or BB, but, I do not think it would be enough to actually say the movie increased GM sales.

People still have to wait at least a year to even get the camaro since its a late 2008 seller for the 2009 model year. And by that time I would want the new challenger rather than the camaro.

i made a reply to this on another thread, this movie wont boost sales for the cars features for numerous reasons..

now most of the people who are fans of this movie are in thier mid 20's and younger...they MIGHT be attracted to the camero but most of these people are going to be in colledge, or still in highschool and wont be able to afford it

the hummer is an old model..if someone is going to buy a hummer they will buy the newest model..not the outdated one

the topkick is a really nice pick up truck however, pick up trucks are a niche car...people dont grow up and dream of owning a pick up truck...

then we have the mustang..but the mustang is allready a cult car...a movie is not needed to generate a buzz for a car like a mustang..people who would get the mustang would have allready got it...the mustang also falls in the same category as the new camero though...

As for car sales, you never know. I remember back in 1994 sales went up for Ford after a certain famous car chase. The Ford Bronco if I'm not mistaken.
At least the new Camaro and Saleen will get alot of exposure.

i dont think the movie will boost car sales heaps but i think there would be a few people who will go and buy one after seeing the movie
