IS it just my over active imagination or in the new trailer where the dad takes spike(or whatever the call him these days) to a porsche dealer and states your not getting a porsche, is that a stab at jazz not being a porsche and the whole bumblebee /vw issue???

AAnd this would be the millionth time this question has been asked, discussed, and answered.

I really doubt it. Its made as a joke because most 16 year olds would want a porshe, and if your dad is driving you near a porshe dealership your imagination is going to run wild and think that you are going to get one. And then reality hits.

Also the dad said "I got a suprise for you, son." right next to a Porshe dealer so Sam assumed he meant that his dad was buying him a Porshe

well obviously this guy doesn't know either and doesn't have time to search 500 plus threads.

god i hate it when people ask you to read/search and entire message board. just answer it or don't post.

but it would seem that particular convo had a deeper meaning. maybe we're just taking it out of context though. pretty much every bot in the movie isn't it's original vehicle, so i wouldn't read too much into it.

doesnt take 500 threads, hell just look on the first page and youd get the answer.

No need to bash the poor guy. Honest mistakes are inevitable and all we can do is politly ask them to use the search link next time. Not every new member share the same memories so I don't believe it to be logical to expect them all to know.

Anyway:

magirus, some people think it may be a jab. Others not so much or not at all. None of us can honestly answer the question with a definitive answer. There were other jabs we picked up tht we don't know are for sure, but the shot of Ironhide flipping in the air seemed like a jab at the line "Do a barrel role" that was submitted to the "Make Prime Speak" contest a few months back causing a large and rather unnessisary out burt from fans. I thought it was funny.

i never bashed at any point, mearly stated a fact thats all.
