While the call for extras is in Los Angeles only so far, it is again, nice to see the forward movement in the movie making, and that there are opportunities for 'YOU', the average fan to get involved.

Holy Crap, this is awesome

wow...i hope they choose chicago for a setting in the third as well as put up an add for extras for here in chicago

I saw this earlier, I called and it's just a hook for an agency that charges you for casting notifications. They have nothing to do with the movie.

They need to spread some TF love to the Pac. NW. Seeing giant robots hanging from the Space Needle would be awesome. Now that the "Fun Forest" amusement park area at the base of the Needle is being closed permanently, that would make for an excellent area to film/destroy and having the arches of the Pacific Science Center for a backdrop would work great with Transformers. Not to mention the insane cool factor of seeing the completed footage of a giant robot battle that was filmed right outside the doors of the IMAX theater in which I would be viewing said footage.
Why should L.A. have all the fun?

I'd say be very careful about looking into this.

So I called up this guy named "Jim Dawson" who apparently is charging 100 dollars to be put onto his database so one can find work. The SAG website warns against agencies that charge to find work. The link before that also mentions that there hasn't been a legitimate SAG company to contract through Dawson's company.
