I think this girl is the perfect replacment for Megan Fox.

Nope, I don't want a "replacement" for Megan Fox. The best would be if Mikaelas character wasn't in TF3 - either kill her to make the movie more dramatic, or use her like the women of Oceans 12 were used in Oceans 13 - phone calls, etc, without showing the character. But swapping actors from one movie to the next in the same role rarely works, and only in smaller roles (Dark Knight - the girl got less attention; Iron Man 2s Rhodey worked because Stark could be in the movie alone and make a cool movie by himself) - but Mikaela is a main character.

F*k no

! Besides I'd rather not have a love story at all in TF3 infact, have Sam kill Makayla in the first 10 minutes of the movie because he cant take much more of her bitching and complaining!

I agree with the first response. Handle it that way. I also agree with response number two-I could care less if there is a love story of any kind.

You guys didn't get me right. There will be a new female role no matter if she will play Mikaela or a new character. I just want this new female to be Mila Kunis and not some plane Victoria Secret model like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Just ignore them. They have nothing better to do with their time than hate on a film that hasn't been completed yet that they want in their own vision out of some false sense of entitlement. It's a little something I like to call fanboy-syndrome.
Anyways, while I like Mila Kunis (she definately has more brains than Megan Fox), I don't think she is a good fit for Mikaela.

She'll play a different role then.

Who said I'm hating? I love the first movie, I think ROTF is the greatest movie ever made, and I cant wait for TF3. Im just saying that I dont want Makayla in TF 3 at all. She doesnt need to be in it.

I agree. But there should be a female lead you know. Have you heard of women emancipation.

What about Arcee? If the movie needs a female role, why not it be a female robot?

She dosen't need to be in the movie. They could do a few things. How about the opening scene is Sam at a funeral, he looks distraught, and they are lowering a casket into the ground. On the side of the grave is a picture of Mikela. While this scene is happening, you hear Optimus doing one of his monologues , maybe about how the war is now taking human casualties, etc, etc...

And maybe they could show a flashback. I always imagined that if sh did die in a movie, she'd be on a train and gets blown up by Megatron.

Actually nikeprime's suggestion is very good because they don't have any actual footage with Megan Fox. So this is a great way to begin the film without loosing any time explaining why and what happened and go straight to the action.

Sorry RB, but there is nothing fanboy about those posts. They might be opinionated, but certainly not Fanboy.

Mila Kunis...
Though I luv her dearly ever since she did Forgeting Sarah Marshall, she doesn't meet Bay's high standards that he seeks in a starlet....
That being (appearently from current information leaks) A Victoria Secret Model.
Ha ha, more call for death. Ah the lands of Transformers have turned ripe with crimson. If I do want someone to die, that last person it would be is Megan, the Twins are the first on my hit list, but alas a thread is already dedicated to this subject.
No, I seriously doubt any main stream character will die, I more think that Megans character will simply be replaced, and that will be the end of it. No one will like it, but it's the cheapest exit to go with. However, interesting thought, one reason as to why Megan did walk is that perhaps her character does die. Food for thought, it's not uncommon for actors to walk when they find out their reprising role is a death scene shy of a cameo or a walk-on role. Megan may have weighed the pros and cons of putting oneself through Bays filming regime and if it was worth the money....in this case I'd say no.
Mind you, say what you will of Megan, she's not picky. I mean she did Jennifer's Body for cryin out loud, and Jonah Hex, a film looking to be as bad as Van Helsing, I have more fear of the story now and the premis of this third film if it were to cause someone as placid about their roles as Megan to walk. Food for thought.

I'm probably one of the loudest mouth feminists you'll meet, but Transformers doesn't need a [human] female role. It just needs giant alien robots blowing three kinds of snot out of each other, a decent plot and Bay not trying to cram in every ounce of Transformers mythos into the thing.
On a side note, while I find Milia Kunis amusing, if she was in the movie I'd sit there the whole time thinking of Meg.
If people want female roles go watch that abortion with teh sparkling vampires.

I agree as well. I don't believe its wise to just up and name another actress as Mikalea. Another charater yes, but not as a the same.
But unfortutly, like it or not, a love story of some sort is going to be a part of TF3 wether we like it or not. Might as well be with an actress that has some talent and can make you laugh and looks good doing so all at the same time.

I know. It just blows that it WILL be a part of it. Like "Just Negare" said, people can watch that stuff all day long in a Twilight movie or just about any other movie out there. It is just disappointing, that's all.

To be honest though, i don't feel the "love story" was really all that bad. It helped bring the story toeghter in the first movie. Not so much in ROTF, but it did help bring a few things toeghter. Like bringing wheelie in the picture, as well as Alice the pretender.
I have no clue how the'll fit this new chick in. But i'll give her a chance.
