Ever since the end of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the anticipation for the third and perhaps final Transformers Live Movie by Michael Bay has been building up day by day. We're a little bit more than a year away from the release of the movie on July 1, 2011, and we've finally got our first piece of physical advertisement. ComicBookMovie was able to get a sneak peak at the Transformers 3 Display by Paramount Pictures, featuring Bumblebee in both alternate and robot mode. We also get to see the first Transformers 3 Poster, featuring none other than Optimus Prime. Check out both images at ComicBookMovie!

Not bad, but not great either. I do like the lettering for TF3. Gives it a nice strong stance. Bumble Bee doesn't apear to look any different in robot mode. I guess they aren't finished with the final re-design.
Green Lantern look meh, but Thundercats, looks sweet! 2011 is going to be a good year for movies!

That's because it's the same BB they had at Botcon 09

Not sure how I feel about Thundercats. I can't remember if I liked TC or not. I watched them when I got home from school a long time ago, but really don't remember much about them.

I'm wondering how they're going to pull off Thundercats, humanoid cat creatures, it could end up looking like a bad Doctor Who episode.
But I like the concept art so far. I'll look forward to it till I have evidence to do otherwise.

THat's not Green Lantern. It's the Green Hornet! I didn't know they were doing that one! Classic!
As for TF3...about what I expected.
On the third one all I have to say is HEELLLLLSSS YEAH! THundercats HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!...
...god I'm cheesy...

Yeah I thought they scrapped the idea after the disaster that was Speed Racer.

Pretty cool stuff...I thought they sold that life-size Bumblebee prop off?
Transformers 3 would make for the fastest trilogy from start to finish (2007-2011) since Lord of the Rings (2001-2003)...we've been spoiled.

I remember liking Thundercats back then, but I'm not sure how I feel about a live-action movie, either.
Somebody put up a Mortal Kombat video in the thread this links to, that was pretty cool. Seemed like a trailer, but based on what I saw on imdb (found by checking their page on Jeri Ryan, who was Sonya in the video), it seems to be a short film made to drum up financing on a new feature. If this short's how the new movie turns out if it's made, I wouldn't mind seeing it happen. That looked a lot better than the other two movies that were made (though I've still got a pretty cool Goro figure that spun out of the first movie...).

Or Avatar!

In my mind a Thundercats film is ace but in reality I have a bad feeling about it.

Hmm. To get leader Prime now or wait to see the movie version. The heights of modern toy engineering is the ONLY thing I've gotten out of the series.

I don't know, Bumblebee looks a little different to me, his chest seems smaller and his arms seem bigger, as well as his "jaw" appears to be thicker. But I'm not sure, it
is a statue after all.

As for the poster, very cool. Perfect for a teaser photo.

No not Thundercats. Why couldnt the idea stay dead? All i can do now is hope that some one who knows what they are doing is attached to it. I forgot about Green Hornet, i hope they do it justice the show was awesome.

I heard in an interview that Thundercats is supposedly going to be done in CGI, because they were concerned that live actors would pretty much ruin the movie or not do it justice.

Did you forget about Twilight? (Is easy, dont worry.) A movie comes out EVERY FREKING YEAR! And thats why they suck almost as much ass as the books.
