...Jurassic Park? Or far more than that?

Even better, will Transformers get the same popularity (especially for non-Transfans) as Jurassic Park back in 1993?:)

Well, we'll just have to wait and see, won't we? Unless one of you guys has a crystal ball or psychic brain powers to see the future.

You know, it's been almost 15 years since Jurassic Park came out, and I still think it has the best CGI of any film I've ever seen.

Watching the making-of feature on my DVD, they showed scenes that - for almost 15 years - I thought were animatronics or real, physical objects - and as it turns out, they were computer generated (like the upside down SUV that the T-Rex steps on after he breaks from his pen).

and even with the amazing CGI, JP was still a great film, I don't know if Transformers has the script and storytelling to even hold a candle to Jurassic Park...

I was just about to say that the JP effects are very dated looking...great for the time, but dont hold up so well now. At least the Transformers effects will be top notch and in the now very in the now...but we'll see how they look 15 years down the road

Also, its not Jurassic Park that the Transformers should be worried about, but more a certain over-hyped/overrated wizard tailing them at the box office

Because it's scary and action-packed.

Wait, I hardly watch much thriller movies anyway.XD Maybe it's all about human mortals dealing with towering, terrifying fantastic creatures like dinosaurs and Transformers. Or bringing both of them to 100% live-action reality?

I suppose you CAN compare the new Transformers movie to Jurassic Park, in that both involve people caught in the middle as supremely powerful creatures kick aft.

You think? I recently watch the LOTR trilogy and Jurassic Park, and JP STILL has better CGI, the dinosaurs look more realistic and blend into the environment way better than anything I've seen since.
