I figured I'd start a little post here to see if anyone who attended the Chicago extras casting has heard from anyone for fittings, etc. This way, I guess we'll at least kind of have an idea on whether or not we're being considered if people start saying they're getting phone calls.

So, has anyone gotten a call yet?

Neither me or my friend have head anything as we both signed up. I didn't think they were filming till July from what the lady in charge said. They usually need gather a pool of extras way in advance. For flags of our fathers they had me keep calling them back for like a month before I was actually supposed to on the set. (it fell thru like a day or 2 before I was going go.) Granted every thing can be ran a bit different, but both the films I actually was in had a good month before the filming started. Unless its a period piece(in the Babe we all had to dress like it was the 1930s), they usually let you just where whatever cloths you got.

Don't worry about missing out just yet. This going be a big shoot, and there's bound be some last minute scrambles to get anyone there the night before. If you haven't heard from them at all by end of july...then may be you can get alittle bummed. Otherwise till then just stay optimistic hehe. It could be any of us.

So now that the filming in Chicago has started, has anyone heard from the casting company??
