As I posted in another forum this is the number of all the fans participating on the pages about the two movies made by Bay. I can imagine that we can add another 2 000 000 when the third one comes out. I know that some people may participate in more than one group but the number is astonishing. I am sure that there are millions other people who don't have facebook. And let's not forget that facebook is forbidden for kids under 13. And there is also Twitter, My Space and so on.... So the numbers talk for themselfs. I know the movies are not perfect but I love them and the critics should finaly give some credit to Bay.
And some word to the hard core TF animation and toys fans (I am not one of them) respect the other people's vision of something that have already been done and is in the past.

Cheers!

I can respect the hard work that the movie team puts in.

I can respect people who like the movies as action movies with 'Giant F****** Robots'.

I can respect a lot.

Doesn't mean I HAVE to like it, or accept that there is not something better that could have been done.

Of course you are perfectly right, you don't have to like it. The problem is that most of the people who don't like it continue to insult the director and the movie on and on for an eternity.

You have a point; it does go on a little too long (especially in this age of reboots), but on the other hand, there are more than a fair share of fans that respond to people with either variations of " Michael Bay is a GENIUS! I LOVE these movies. Anyone that doesn't is stupid/g*y/retarded!" or alternately go on a long rant stating they like them, why they like them, why they are intellectually superior to you for liking them, and why their opinion is the only right one, and you should yield to theirs and change your own. :BANG_HEAD:

That said, here's hoping that with the changes we've heard about with 3, that it turns out to be a good movie ;)

This is your opinion. Thanks for sharing. But as I said there are millions who like what he has done with the franchise. So you stick with the cartoons and watch them. I like Bay's version. :)
Don't forget that Transformers is not just the G1 movies and I am sure that there are many people who don't like many chapters of the whole franchise. After all it's a big franchise:

1. First there were the toys.
2. G1 (TV seasons 1-4 + US and UK comics).
3. G2 (vs. G.I. Joe + comics).
4. Beast Wars.
5. Beast Machines.
6. Robots in disguise (toys).
7. Armada & Energon.
8. Transformers The Movie.
9. Michael Bay's Transformers.

So I am sure that everyone has something that don't like from this list. But to say that the movies are disgrace is too harsh. Everyone has a different vision.

P.S. What are you doing on the movie forum if you think they are disgrace? Or you like to hurt yourself. :)

LOL, what is this? Facebook? I mean, what is this?

Just seems, random, like posting all the Myspace followers of Linkn Park or People whom like Chevy cars. I mean, just funny. I really don't see no point to this honestly. I mean if you are trying to use this to prove some type of point other then people like Transformers on Facebook, it wouldn't hold any water other then, people on face book like Transformers.

I mean, I'm pro Megan Fox, but I don't post a thread stating she has over 10,051,000 followers on Facebook just to prove something to Anti-Megan peeps, which are just as constant and annoying as I'm sure you find anti-Bay peeps.

This just seems, I don't know, not classy I guess. I mean there's tons of pre-existing threads and posts to cover this, I've read many, been apart of many, made friends, enemies, all part of the gig. But to suck in social sites like Facebook and Myspace and Twitter not for valid news, but soley for the sake of "See, these many people like it!" Just seems like Bad form.

My God, someone actually used Facebook like this.....too funny.

I think the point he's making is despite all the harsh criticism a LOT of people liked the movies. Even if you hate the movies and Bay they deserve some respect for making something that so many people enjoy, that's no small feat.
