Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is playimg Carly in TF3

The site administrator of Michael Bay's forum (Shoot for the edit) "unintentionally" slipped a word in a thread about women that: "I personally like Carly, I mean, Rosie." So maybe finally the speculations who will play Rosie are over.
This info comes one day after he also confirmed that the Nascar cars are not Stunticons or Omnibots.
Another interesting info from a crew from the set is that they call the Nascar cars Wreckers.

I thought the girl might be carly. But the ferarri is Rush? Talk about obscure. He appears to be from a sub-group called axelerators, the same group as Rapido who was also pulled from obscurity for botcon. And of course he should be orange and blue, so he's red in the movie lol I love the movies but is it really so hard to pull characters from tf lore that are more interesting and then color them right?

Damn-it I'm never quick enough to report!

Just found it on tfw2005
Anyway, good that she's a new character and not a re-casted character
And I like 'Rush' for it's simplicity...
Then again, both tidbits of info may be false, but they seem legit (for now anyway!)
@gantzrunner - Yes I do believe it is hard for them, except Bumblebee and Optimus (meaning the colors used, not the style)

Then again, they're nudging Ratchet in that direction now!

Rush?! Seriously?! No way, that has to be Rodimus... Dear Lord, PLEASE let this be misinformation!

I'm sorry, with so many great Transformer names out ther, Rush is the best they could do? I'm not impressed, especially for such a wicked car.

I am 100% confident this is the kind of dialogue that Bay can actually write...

Isn't "right" subjective? And be honest, who in GOD'S name would have an orange and blue car? That's just nasty...

Well, with a name like Rush he'd better transform into a dog!

Makes you wonder don't it? When they said the third installment would be closer to G1? So, we can speculate what happened to Mikaela, and perhaps her part was intended to be short in it, if at all. Regardless, still looking forward to seeing this one.
LOL! Orange and Blue! Don't get the Collector's Club Dion then.

Hmm, Rush sounds cool, he's probably like SideSwipe being silver...
I hope he's cool!
Blue car axelerator? The wiki has that listed as Skram o_O

People! The Transformers Live Action Movie Blog have said that the official Michael Bay site has changed the (Rush) to (Parked on Rush St.).

http://transformerslive.blogspot.com/20 ... names.html
Now then, if this was a premature reveal that shouldn't have been, then they managed to get a good cover by taking a real street in Chicago and using it as a cover. However, if it was supposed to mean the real street in the first place, then that means the Ferrari is still nameless and it may be anything! (So people who are hoping Hot/Rod/imus still have hope!)

they changed the caption from (rush) to parked on (parked on rush st.) go check it out. so the ferrari shall remain nameless

So glad that the Ferrari's name is still up in the air. Rush is just a silly name, really.
I mean, yeah, a great many of them are silly, but Rush just rubs me the wrong way and makes it seem more so.
I do hope that it is just the name of the street (as it's been stated) and that Rush is in no way a contender for name of that character.
Rush is just a stupid, stupid name.

I'm starting to think TF3 is here to make us, the fans, happy (and obviously to make money ... but I think we're getting some fan nods in this one). I never really felt excited about ROTF. TF3 on the otherhand? I've been super geeked about it ever since BotCon last month. Maybe it helps that it's filming in Chicago. Maybe it's been since I heard that one of my all time favorite Decepticons is rumored to be in the flick. Maybe since Megan Fox was finally cast aside ... and now I find out the blond girl's name is going to be none other than "Carly"? Thank the matrix they didn't listen to us fans back in 2006ish and call Fox's character "Carly". Maybe it's been since I saw Prime's trailer online. And then saw it hours later just feet away in person. Maybe it's been since I first saw the Ferrari. Or the Benz. Or the "Stunticons" or "Wreckers" or whatever the incredibly awesome Nascar bots are going to be. I dunno ... I'm just flat out geeked about TF3. I feel like I did leading up to the release of TF1. I had thought the magic was gone with ROTF but then I felt it again during the past month.

Touché! Also, there is a Rush song called "Red Barchetta" about a red Italian sports car...

Ditto. I don't think I've ever been this excited about a movie (except perhaps for 300) but even that only started when the trailer came out. I check in here every day just to see if there is anything new and exciting.

I'm hoping for a quick, painless "She's a Fembot!" in the style of the second Austin Powers movie...

I totally agree. When RoTF came out I was far from a TF fan but I still managaed to enjoy myself with Bay's fun action sequences. Now that I've seen the light however, I realized how much more it could have been as far as story and characters go. I honestly didn't feel that this movie was going to be any more than a fun summer action movie. But with all the recent news, I'm actaully getting pretty phyched that it may be something a more. A more complete package. I can only hope this proves to be true.
As far as "Carly" is concerned. I find Rosie has a kinda cute quality that I kinda prefer to Megan. I'm glad she will not be playing Mikaela. I just hope it's just more than an offscreen breakup thing that only gets mentioned in an offhanded way. I hate when they just shove a committed relationship under the carpet so cheaply. Especially since it was established how much they needed and loved each other
