A few months ago there was a rumor that a black Dodge Charger SRT-8 is to appear as a Decepticon in TF3. You can see this info on the TF3 page in wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transformers_3

Everybody knows that the wiki is not the best reliable source but a few days ago thanks to pixelrally.com we've spotted the Dodge on the Chicago set. It looks great and the strangest thing is that it has a batman logo on the front plate.
So we have to wait and see what will turn out from this rumor. It sure will be very interesting.

*LOL*Hunt for the Decepticons, Wave 4,featuring Albershide!
I love your work.

There was a Alternators Ravage and Battle Ravage.Could this be Ratbat? Would Bay end up able to nab the rights to stick a Batman emblem on a Transformer? Asking 'cuz I don't know.

The generic Batman emblem is yellow..but after the newer Batman movies maybe there are several copyrighted versions. Any chance that emblem is a piece of material hiding another emblem, like the Fluero blue tape 'discreetly' being used to hide the net covered trucks' hood ornament?

My guess is that's someone's personal vehicle.

Now I remember there was an interview with Wally Pfister (Chritopher Nolan's cinematographer) in which he mentioned that Nolan loves Michael Bay's work. Here is the article:

http://www.cinematical.com/2010/06/24/i ... y-pfister/

In short:
"...there are the movies out there that he loves and I hate. I'm not a big Michael Bay fan. Chris loves Michael Bay's movies. And so I'm always like come on, dude! But he sees something in it, and I don't see it."

So maybe this decepticon with the batman logo is a tribute to Nolan from Michael Bay as he did with Obama in ROTF (Bay met Obama on the airport and Obama said that he loves his films - after that Bay decided to put Obama's name in ROTF).

So you think it is a coincidence that we had an information about this car a few months ago and now we see it? Because I've seen this info a long time ago in the wiki.

A couple things...

Your correct that that this info has been on Wiki for a while now. But originaly, it was said to be a Challenger SRT-8. Not a Charger. My guess is that someone saw this car on set and reported it to Wiki and it was promptly changed.
Another thing worth noticing is that the car pictured is not an SRT-8, but just a plain Jane Charger with some blacked out headlamps. This car seems a little to plain to be any TF. Especialy a "Bayformer". So my guess is that this might just be someones personal vehicle, or maybe Sam's company car or somthing.

Oh, I guess I made a mistake. If the car with the batman logo is not an SRT-8 it explains a lot. The American car brands are not my strongest feature. :) In this case this car really is someone's personal vehicle.
But still I am anxious to see if the rumor for an SRT8 decepticon is right. Here is the correct picture of the car:

It looks very Barricade alike. Great!!!

Great post. It is most definitely not an SRT-8. And definitely not a Challenger.
