I doubt whether Linkin Park will sing the theme song for Movie 3

We have all experienced the feeling of New Divide by Linkin Park. But Linkin Park seems supposed to change their style. From their new single, Waiting for the end, I start to consider whether Linkin Park will sing for Movie 3 or not.
How about your ideas.

I don't see why not. There new CD has a preety wide range style to there sound. "Wrenches and Kings" has a more traditional Linkin Park sound, while Robot Boy" takes it down a notch. Thats what i like about them. While they defenatly have a signature sound, the tempo of their music range from soft, to hard and anything inbetween. I for one am hoping they do the singe for the 3rd movie.

As I remember, TF3 will be dealing with a problem of Autobots as intruders on Earth. In my opinion rebelious style from Linkin Park new album fits perfectly. I'm talking about "The Catalyst". I know this particular song won't be used in the movie, but what I'm trying to tell is that their style still fits to the movieverse

They'll probably write a brand new single for the movie as they did with new divide. There's plenty of time between now and then for them to do so if they havent already started. I imagine it's already long under way.

Im gonna have to agree with Lastjustice on this one. I think that Linkin Park will do the song again and its gonna be a new single. I dont think that they would change up something that has worked for the first 2. In a previous forum on here it was actually discussed that there are hints to the movie in the songs. That and the build up to the movie coming out could be why they release the song a little before the movie. But Linkin Park is my favorite band and the 2 songs they did for the other movies have become some of my favorites, so I hope that they do cut the track for the movie

Too be honest since Linkin Park have been involved with the movies since day 1 I wouldnt be suprised they came back for 3, ROTF's choice of music in the soundtrack was terrible so I am hoping for 3 it will be better.
