OK, so its not really a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but i have to say i was a bit disapointed when Sound Wave didn't have his "synthizised" voice in ROTF. I've been watching the G1 cartoon on the Hub Chanel nearly every night, and it reminded me of one of the reasons liked TF so much growing up.
So if he gets his vice back, that would be fantastic. if not,... Oh well. **** happens i guess.

I hope he actually speaks in TF3.

But, yeah, it'd be nice if he had his "proper" voice, if nothing else just to distinguish his growly voice from the other Cons's growly voices.

I don't really care as long as he kills things.

I didn't hate his voice in TF2, but it would be nice if he had his G1 voice. The original voice was just freaking cool.

For some reason I had the urge to oppose this for no reason.
Of course, then I realized how great it'd be.
I had no idea how famous his voice was, when I tried to remind my mom of SoudWave her response was "Oh, the tape guy with the cool voice?"
I didn't know people actually remembered him by those words.

And see, since they ditched the cassette they need to keep the cool voice!

I hope he does, that would be so cool. His unique voice was one of his defining features and made him so special. I personally think it was a bit of a travesty he didn't have it in ROTF.

i hated the rotf voice he sounder a bit to mutch like dr claw

Honestly, i liked how Soundwave sounded in the ROTF.

Agreed! To this day, my favorite parts of the G1 episodes are when he speaks, especially when he releases the cassettes.

"Rumble Eject...Lazerbeak Eject...Operation: Warfare!". That's just cool.

It might only be my opinion but an evil alien robot looks cooler when he's got a bit more meener or evil voice. The G1 Soundwave was totally awesome, but I guess that the movie-verse 'Wave and voice match a bit more.

No, because that would just make it confusing to change his voice. I think movie Soundwave's voice is awesome!

Well yeah, I can understand that, that's all this thread is anyways, a matter of opinion.

I'd like it if he got his original voice back. It's part of what make him such an iconic character. I also don't find the Dr. Claw voice fitting for him.

YESSS! I would luv the old voice, also I would like the reverb treatment back on all the bots voices to be honest. I noticed in ROTF all the voices had been spared the reverb treatment which was evident in the first film. Hopefully they bring it back and spend some time on the sound FX.

Also, hopefully BB gets "a" voice this go around. Being they can bring back Prime with pixie dust I think they can fix BB's vocals. Which were fixed in the first film, then broken again in the second.

I hope they get Michael J Fox, why? He was the insparation used when they developed BB's facial designs, (1st Film's DVD extras) so it would be a nice gesture. Especially now that there's a bot that looks like Doc Brown, God I hope they get Christopher Loyyd ha ha

I would like it slightly vocoded, but not too different from ROTF's voice.

If they do I just hope they don't overdo it like on Animated. I couldn't understand a damn thing he said, he sounded like a robotic version of the adults on Charlie Brown.

I would actually love to see Michael J Fox in a TF film. I always thought he was a good actor as well as a really nice dude. I hope he is fighting the Parkinson's Disease as well as can be hoped for.

Seriously, I think that would just be a stroke of brilliance. Even as just a voice actor, it would be pretty wild to hear him voice a bot, more so the bot that was inspired design wise by him. And if rumors are ture about the posibility of time paradox and quantum theory being introduced in "Moon", well.....a better question is why isn't Marty McFly apart of this film? Ha ha ha

I'd be for that. I used to love his G1 voice. Or maybe even something in between ROTF and G1 voice. I was disappointed with his ROTF voice actually.

Having Doc Brown's voice would be sweet. Although i currently don't mind BB talking through his radio (gives him more personality IMO) I'd also love to have M.J.F. voice his character. It would just be...so.... Fitting.

But what would be even more fitting? Sound Wave with his G1 voice! Ha ha! Sorry, had to get that in!

Yes, I am. Heres why:

1). His ROTF voice was cool, but it just didn't seem Soundwave to me.

2). His original voice was so awesome, how can you go wrong with a voice as epic as that?

That would be a big yes on my part. I LOVE his 80's voice.
