Lol!

The idea of a competition to talk to Don, when he's been freely available for a chat for the past 3+ years, is very amusing.

I wonder if this is like the last interview with Tom and Don that IESB did, where Tom DeSanto answered everything and Don contributed very little.

I sent this message:

To: Mr. DeSanto and Mr. Don Murphy,

Will the 2nd Transformers Movie Center around a race to control the Autobot ship, the "Ark" which Newly Crashed in the Nevada Desert, and Where lies "Teletran One, a super computer," whose operations could take control of all the Earth's defenses, similar to Sky-Net, in the Terminator movies?

Murphy: "Can I ban him? Pretty please?"
DeSanto: "That doesn't work that way in real life Don..."

They're probably going to ignore this, but I submitted:
"Why was it decided that all the Transformers coming to Earth aboard space ships would be less realistic than reconfiguring their bodies, flying to Earth on their own power (pffft), and then reconfiguring them again? The latter not only would require high expendatures of fuel, but seems to be LESS realistic, since the Transformers not only have to reconfigure themselves twice over. Not to mention the whole absurdity of them somehow being able to magically reshape the metal and immaculately repaint themselves out in the open without the use of some sort of "R" chamber. That's even harder to swallow than mass-shifting and was one of the cornier aspects of the cartoons that I'd HOPED would have been left out. So, to repeat my question, why was it done that way?"

hey why not, it doesn't hurt to ask...anyone who thinks just asking a question is even if its a fan question is wrong, then they are scared little children...you never know something unless you ask..

Also the most under used word in the English language is "Why"...

leave the "Blind" following to the sheep...

Nice. Likelihood of a serious answer. None. It will be just like Michael Bay's reasoning for the flames...He likes them.

Unless the plot you're more or less submitting has been done in some official capacity in a previous continuity it'll probably get filtered-out and discarded for legal purposes or avoided altogether. One thing television and filmmakers hate is people crawling out of the woodwork and claiming they should receive a credit or be paid for an idea they submitted.

yeah I see your point, but i don't give a Rats A$$ about credit, I love the genre and just want to see a cool story for the next film.. shoot I would even sign a waiver, just to know that the plot of the next film was similar to what I think would make a cool story, since we do now know that there is a battle that happens in space in 1969 between the Nemesis and the Ark, and somehow those ships are left behind...

It would make for a cool opening to the next film, as the Ark comes into orbit and goes crashing into the desert...

but heck thats just one way they could take the story.. there is so much they could do..

I sent these out this weekend:

I actually have 2 Questions:

1. Will we see a "ravage", black panther-Decepticon, in the transformers movie sequel?

2. Will we see more emotion from the Decepticons, like when they got drunk in an episode on Energon? it would be cool to see them stumble around and maybe leave an opening for the Autobots to steal or attack or something... see attached: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EBUXVZcb2M
