According to NBC.com, the Goo Goo Dolls will be performing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight. We are assuming that they will be performing "Before It's Too Late (Sam and Mikaela's Theme)".

Next week on June 13th, Shia LaBeouf will appear on The Tonight Show to promote the Transformers Movie. Terry Bradshaw and James Morrison will also be appearing on that date.

No doubt - how old is Shia, anyway? Call me a prude, but my kid uses the kind of language he does before he's out on his own and he'll have my footprint anywhere it can be planted.

What I want to know is why people are so "offended" by "swear" words.

They are words, why do people feel the need to get their panties in a bunch over them

Try telling that to a black man when the word n***er is used. Words have histories and connotations that sometimes offend people. 'Midget' is just a word too but little people find it extremely offensive, almost akin to the n-word. I'm on your side to an extent though, people should be able to say what they want, but I also respect other people's views. I think that's all Spooner wants. Anywayzzzzzz....I haven't heard a Goo Goo Dolls song since 'Iris.' I hope they haven't turn into the sappy crap I hear on the radio everyday. We need a grunge revival.

As for Shia cussing, I highly doubt he will be. Afterall, this is America where things are bleeped out- like addresses, phone numbers, and very few swear words. And, then there is God... I still hear that one cut out of movies on TV. As for those offended by hearing it, either watch something else, because you won't get sympathy from me if you hear it and are offended.

Excellent job on explaining why some people are offended by some words. That's exactly how I feel, but have been unable to get the right words out. I'm a big guy, so you can throw the word "fat" and "lazy" up there for me!

As for the guest spots, I don't think I'll miss anything. I tuned into the SNL with Shia and he mentioned every movie (including Indy 4) byt Transformers. He probably will this time, but ehhhh....
